There’s a hole in the world today. We lost our brother Bruce last night. I swear that I can feel him in the wind today.
I’m thinking of his wife Kim and their son and daughter, Dylan and Jodi. They are all such sweet souls as was he.
There are a lot of people hurting right now. Hugs to you all. Bruce touched a lot of lives and did so much for so many of us.
I’m sure gonna miss you. Love you pal.

Good evening friends - alas I say, we are without another new show for this week. Getting power and telecommunication to my sanctuary has proven difficult and my producer was stricken with the flu this week (don’t want that).
So how’s about we try for a corker of a show next week?

It was a kinda spontaneous jam session hastily arranged by Tara MacLean and Alicia Toner on Richmond St in Charlotteown PEI. The idea was to gather folks still reeling from Fiona’s fury and spread a little comfort and joy to powerless Islanders on a chilly day. It was a beautiful gathering with many well known Island songwriters, fabulous musicians and one particular dancer (Patricia Richard). Those who stumbled upon it were pretty happy to be there as were we. Thanks to Alicia and Tara and all involved for asking us to join it. Was a lot of fun and a warm blanket of song on a cool day after a devastating storm.

All is well in comfort cove despite the fact she looks a bit different after the storm.
Everything is still out of whack out here so we’ll have to postpone our show for a week while we iron things out.

The PEI music community is grieving yet again, as our hearts are collectively broken to hear of Pastelle Leblanc’s much too early departure from the world. It is almost too much to fathom after the earlier loss this year of another Celtic music star, Koady. Pastelle was understated brilliance on stage and a beautiful soul in life. It was always a gift to share a stage with her and her wonderful band, Vishten. We will miss her dearly. Deepest condolences to Pascal, Emmanuelle, Philippe, Maryse, Bernadette and all the family.
