Preparing Lunar New Year red envelopes for my kids' classrooms!

The montessori school my kids go to always encourage sharing things from different cultures.

My child has come home with diwali candles and dreidels, which were prepared by the parents of their classmates and I am so excited to be sharing part of our culture with the class. 🥰

Good morning! Up and at them at 5AM this morning, working on the art for my debut kids book!

Lina and the Octopus Arms follows 6 year old Lina over a weekend where she discovers that losing her temper changes her arms into octopus tentacles that would hit, throw, and punch!

With a lot of support and a little bit of luck, she manages to learn to control them... sometimes.

Our first Bluey sighting! The dumplings were very excited! The preschooler claims that it was worth the 90 minute drive and expensive parking, but I'm less convinced. 😅
