One of the first things I like to do when I take on a new client is optimise their presence across all platforms. One of the first things clients like to do is ask me what the heck that means.
Imagine your business is a chain of stores. You'd want people to know that this collection of different stores are actually under the same owners with the same quality products, and you'd do this by branding. Your name, logo, fonts, colour palette, contact information and tone of voice all need to be consistent across platforms so that whether a customer lands on your LinkedIn or your Instagram they immediately know it's your business.
On Instagram, you use your bio to provide essential business information right off the bat. Here should be your USP (unique selling point) and your CTA (call to action), which are key steps in taking a browser to a customer.
