It’s Heart Month ❤️. I post this every year as a reminder...

2017 the ‘little fire cracker’ feeling in my heart that had come and gone so many times in the past just wouldn’t go away. As before, it felt like my heart went in to hyper-speed wouldn’t turn off.

After I stupidly decided to drive myself the 40 minutes home, I was ushered onto an ambulance where a administered a drug meant to restore my heart rhythm... and when that didn’t work, the doctors at had no choice but to get out the defibrillator. It was the scariest moment of my life.

It turns out I had been ignoring a condition called atrial fibrillation. And why was I ignoring it?? Oh, there are so many reasons!

“I’m too busy”
“It’s fine, I’m fine”
“I’ll look into it later”
“The kids need something”
“Work is too busy”

Imagine thinking you’re “too busy” to check up on your HEART? I still shake my head.

4. Return on Investment (ROI)
5. Engagement Rate
6. Bounce Rate
7. Traffic Sources
8. Lead-to-Customer Ratio
9. Cost Per Lead (CPL)
10. Social Media Sentiment

These KPIs go beyond vanity metrics to provide a deeper understanding of your marketing performance. By focusing on these indicators, you can make 👉data-driven decisions 👈that enhance your strategies and drive meaningful results.

This was said to me last week and it has completely changed my perspective on my life. I used to have lists upon lists with checkboxes just waiting to be filled resulting in that quick, short lasting dopamine hit for me....

Even writing things on the list that I had already completed just to check it off (I know you've done this).

When this was said to me, I realized...I was chasing that feel good emotion in all the wrong places. It doesn't reside in pointless errands through the day...it lays in meaningful connections to myself and to other.

Now, I schedule my priorities: Time with family and friends, exercise, sunlight, books...
Just thinking about these are making me smile.

Widely recognized as the real-life inspiration behind "Mad Men's" Peggy Olson, Lawrence leaves behind a legacy that reshaped various sectors of advertising.

Her impact was profound, revolutionizing drug, automobile, airline, and television advertising. In 1966, she embarked on an entrepreneurial journey, establishing a company that would later elevate her to the historic position of being the first female CEO of a New York Stock Exchange-listed firm, just 15 years later.

We tend to think of branding as a tone of marketing when really, it’s the other way around. Branding is how your business is presented, your core values, beliefs, your customer experience. Marketing is where your business is presented; the strategy of channels.

Remember, if your branding is poor, no amount of marketing will be successful.

Put a great deal of time into your branding strategy. Marketing campaigns are short lived, while branding lasts decades.

Keep going. Your future is waiting for you...and what a future it will be!

1. People who try to squash your dreams are just to scared to dream themselves
