LOW STOCK ALERT!

Thanks to everyone that showed up today, we hope you were able to snag what you were after!

This was our biggest release to date in more ways than one and we’re super grateful for everyone that grabbed a copy! Can’t wait to get these into your hands.

Just in case you missed, there’s still a handful of the /100 “Haunted by the ghost of a dead splatter” variant still in stock and a quick reminder that ‘While you were sleeping, the world forever changed in an instant’ digitals are up on Bandcamp for only $1.

Hey everyone, as usual couple things to touch on before the drop. Read carefully.

The site will NOT be in maintenance mode. The listing will go live at noon (12) EST. Two bundles (all 5 variants) are going to be made available on drop.

Apart from that, obviously same rules as always, we ask you to limit your purchase to only 1 of each variant. No multiples of the same variant.

We will start with saying, wow, what a privilege it is to work with a band of this caliber. Truly a defining band of that era and I can tell you it’s very surreal to work with a band that made such an impact on us as young musicians.

(The) Plasmarifle needs no introduction. If you hadn’t heard of them from back in the day, were you even part of the scene? No. No, you were not. And oh boy, are you a lucky duck to be finding them now.

The music stands the test of time. There is calculated complexity to (the) plasmarifle’s music. It leaves both an instant impact but gives you a sense of reward through multiple listens by offering a chance to dig deeper into the grinding gears, brain melting breakdowns, and spurts of jazz influence. This is what put the band on the map with their brand of barely controlled chaos. The lyrical content is such a driving force in WYWSTWFCIAI, we highly recommend having a sit down and reading through the heavy story that accompanies the music.

Remasters once again by the one and only, Jack Shirley. At the bands request the original artwork was used for the vinyl and made to fit vinyl format.

Hey everyone,

It’s been a hot minute since we’ve made a post, figured we should pop in before years end.

First off, we hope everyone has a very safe and happy holiday!!

Things have been a little quiet in the HHR camp simply due to life getting a little crazy. We both have full time jobs and families. HHR was started as a passion project, so when things get crazy we have to pump the breaks a bit to focus on what’s important and truthfully, what allows us to even do this label in the first place. With that said, just because there hasn’t been any action in a while doesn’t mean things aren’t happening or that we haven’t had several jobs complete and shipped out to us. We have multiple jobs stacked up in Kyle’s basement and the plan is to be back in full force come the new year. We are really looking forward to being back in full swing, so get ready!

Aside from that, we really just wanted to take a minute to thank each and every one of you who showed up and supported us in 2023 and beyond by buying a copy of something, posting a comment, sharing a post, or sending us a message. We truly are very thankful for it and wouldn’t still be around without you.

I guess the only thing left to do is stoke the old Yule log with a spark of what’s to come! So,

Is our next drop made up of all handmades? Yes.
Is it a gatefold? Yes.
Is it our biggest band to date?
Yes.
Are you all ready? Guess we will find out soon enough!

Undoubtedly our favourite cybergrind and come on… truly the band/AC need no introduction. We love working with AC and these albums needed the physical treatment, so here it is. This is the first HHR alumni release we’ve done, so needless to say we’re super stoked!

V1-4, the entire back catalog from NH and V5 the release that followed Shame. We all know who NH is so I’ll spend some time talking about this releases Wax Mage variant instead.

Kyle would spend the better half of a year doing what would end up being called “The Harvest”; brushing his absolute bitch of a cat to collect her fur. He then crammed that nasty, stolen fur into a cheese cloth, put it through the washer to rid it of any oils and ran it through the dryer to make it dry and brittle. We sent it to Heath (who was disgusted by the idea haha sorry Heath) to press into the records. Y’all remember Heath posting the wax effect cat record? It was a bit of an inside joke between Heath and us. It was in fact, NH.

Ok, hear me out. It’s not often with the amount of time we spent in the ethers of MySpace that we missed something this good. But here we are. This was a recent discovery even for us and let us just say, we are, and have been fu***ng obsessed.

I’ll back up a bit. Daniel O'Brien-Bravi, (yes, THAT sweetest man alive, Daniel O’Brian-Bravi) We were actually introduced to Daniel via Wax Vessel (love you Nik) Daniel and Kyle kinda hit it off in the early WV days and have been chatting music ever since. Early into the HHR releases Daniel just casually mentioned his band, G&M almost like it wasn’t the greatest band to come out of Portland. Again, obsessed!

Let’s talk about “Do Not Sleep” for a minute. Vocals are flamboyant and lip-sy; searing, high-pitched and sassy in the best kind of way. Guitar work covers an admittedly impressive spread here, from spazzy and frantic leads to some seriously chunky rhythm riffage, there are even a few servings of glorious jazzy interlude sections going on, you gotta love it. Daniel was 1/2 of the backing rhythm section here, rounding out this album with a super solid bottom end that ties everything together into one awesome sonic offering.

Artwork using some of the orignal content is filled with inside jokes. Not just between the band members, but between HHR and the band. It was handled by our in-house degenerate Picasso, Kyle Calvert.

Remasters once again by the one and only Jack Shirley. Because we had access to the original stems, these things got a serious upgrade. The tracks are also in true chronological order, I’m talking the order they were written in!

Hey everyone,

And we’re back!!

We have had a lot of people reaching out to us and we appreciate you all so much. We apologize that we have been quiet for awhile, life has been incredibly busy for the both of us and It’s been difficult to plan for any drops.

Now that things are starting to settle down a bit we can keep this train moving. We literally have a mountain of records in hand so get ready for some serious heat!

We will have some updates and additional posts for everyone over the next few days but first things first:
