I tried their pulled beef sandwich, pistachio pancakes and cheese manakeesh. All the food looked gorgeous and tasted delicious!
The ambience is lovely but they need to improve their serving time for larger groups and room temp/cooling. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. It is pretty pricey but the portions are grand!

📣Finally a Halal Mithai Shop & Bakery in Ajax! Presenting @rahat.since1950 😍 🎉🎉Congratulations to the owners on the grand opening of Ajax branch. The store looks bright and clean with a wide range of fried appetizers, cakes, pastries and mithai. Reminds me of bakeries back home. The taste is delicious but I found the mithai a little on the sweeter side but authentic taste wise. Their gulab jamuns are fantastic. Savories are also loaded with fillings and yum. Prices are also competitive. A great addition to the Durham Halal Food Scene 😍

Yes, I am talking about their Malai Rabri. It was a 15/10 , absolutely amazing! A rare find in Canada 🇨🇦
Coming to other food items, I really admired their spice level. Not too hot and easy to enjoy and digest 😋
Their chicken biryani was tasty! A 9/10
The chana masala was delicious! A 10/10
The parathas has a mixed opinion as one was soft but the other one was hard to break and chew so a 6/10
The bun kabab was very average. Honestly I was disappointed with the taste. A 6/10
The rabri lassi was again a show stopper! A 9/10 🤩
The karak chai was ok. A 7/10
The halwa was quite average
The service wasn’t super quick and to my surprise the first item they served was rabri and lassi. The ambience was nice with a lot of Pakistani handicraft. The food quantity was ok for the price. We payed $70 for all this food.
I will definitely revisit for the Rabri & Lassi 💗

What’s better than some freshly baked @nutellaca Puff Pastries?? These are so simple to make and so high on taste! You must try these for your next party or even just for those random sweet cravings! It will be a show stopper, I promise 😍
Recipe:
Puff pastry
Nutella
White Chocolate chips and walnuts
Egg for glaze
Icing sugar for garnish
You can make these in any shape. I cut puff pastry sheet into 4X4 squares and then put a 90 degree angle cut on opposite sides and criss crossed the the edges to form this shape. Then put 1 tsp of nutella in the centre. Top off with a white chocolate chip in the centre and some bits of walnuts. Brush the edges of the pastry with beaten egg. Bake in a pre heated oven at 400 degrees F for around 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Lastly dust some icing sugar for that chic look. Eat it warm! You can serve this with some vanilla icecream on the side too! Yumm😋

Super Easy, Delicious & Moist Vanilla Cupcakes with Butter Cream Cheese Frosting!
Recipe:
Ingredients:
2 cups sugar
2.5 cups all-purpose flour
1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1-1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 cup oil
3 teaspoons vanilla essence
1 cup boiling water
Method:
Mix up everything except boiling water. Lastly add boiling water and mix well. Pour into cupcake liners and bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes. Cool completely before frosting.
Frosting:
Butter 1 stick
Cream cheese 3/4 cup
Powdered sugar 3/4 - 1 cup or as per taste
Vanilla essence 1 tsp
Beat all the ingredients well to achieve a smooth consistency. Refrigerate for 15 minutes so that the frosting pipes well. We did 1M rosettes and topped off with half a strawberry.
