1. DR Congo is the world's richest country with regards to mineral resources, it has an estimated $23 Trillion worth of mineral deposit still untapped. If properly utilized, DR Congo will be both the largest net-exporter of natural resources and net-producer of finished goods in the world.

2. Congo DR is the world's largest producer of cobalt, it accounts for nearly 60% of the world's cobalt production. Unfortunately, it's exported to make engines for cars, planes, ceramic and batteries for electrical appliances.

3. DR Congo is accounts for 80% of the world's Coltan production, this is used to produce phones, laptops and accessories for top companies at the expense of child labour.

4. DR Congo has a large uranium deposit. Infact, the atomic bombs for the World War 2 had her mineral resources sought from Congo DR and it produced 80% of America's nuclear weapon.

5. DR Congo has the world's second largest diamond reserves, and is the third diamond producing country after Russia and Botswana.

6. DR Congo is one of the world's largest gold producer, it accounts for majority of the gold smuggled out of Africa through Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda to Dubai. Its artisanal gold is one of the most sought after gold.

7. DR Congo is so rich that so many sources claim that one can dig out minerals with his bare hands.

8. DR Congo is ranked the 80th largest oil producer producing over 4.1% of it's oil reserve per annum.

9. The Congo rainforest is home to 600 tree species and 10,000 animal species. Some of its most famous residents include forest elephants, gorillas, chimpanzees, okapi, leopards, hippos, and lions.

10. DR Congo is a top wood exporting country, also the Congo basin is home to the largest mineral deposit in the world having wood, oil, diamonds, gold and coltan.

11. Congo DR is a net exporter of entertainment with music being one of it's largest export mostly in the 90s.

12. Congo DR can produce 40GW of power, the most in the world.

Due to known and unknown forces people of the Congo Dr have not been allowed to enjoy the full richness of their own country.

How Late President John Magufuli Made Tanzania A Middle Income Country.🇹🇿🇹🇿

He rejected a $10 billion loan from China
He didn't go on state trips outside Africa
He reduced the cabinet's size from 30 to 19
He banned Government officials from foreign trips & abolished their tax exemptions.

Magufuli accused UK company, Acacia Mining of illegal mining and ordered them to pay $193 billion for undervaluing Tanzania's gold exports.
Over 250 containers of theirs were seized at Dar es Salaam port.
They paid $300 million and gave Tanzania 16% ownership in 3 mines.

Magufuli introduced free education in government schools in 2016. He acquired 6 Air Tanzania planes, expanded Terminal III of Julius Nyerere International Airport.
He built Tanzania Standard Gauge Railway, Mfugale Flyover, Julius Nyerere Hydropower Station, Ubungo Interchange.

Dr. Magufuli built Selander Bridge, Kigongo-Busisi Bridge, Huduma Bora Za afya, Vituo Bora Za Afya, expanded Port of Dar es Salaam, Dodoma Bus Terminal, an LNG plant, a water project, a wind farm project, Uhuru Hospital project, a gold refinery plant, and Magufuli Bus Terminal.

Late President Dr. John Magufuli excelled in infrastructure and financial affairs. He faced numerous accusations of human rights abuses and was accused of repressing the opposition. He also banned explicit images or videos online.

He wasn't a saint, but was a true son of Africa.

Fires are burning across Ngamiland. And they are burning at every corner of the district.

Seems that after more than 8-weeks of uninterrupted burning these fires are slowly dying down....at least that's my impression and hope.

The smoke from these fires forms a long, continuous and thick layer that creates this illusion of rain clouds.

When the world tells you a fairy tale.
It begins with once upon a time, in a land far far away.
In another language, they say, "gatwe e rile, mantswe a santse a le metsi, diphologolo di santse di bua".
I have heard these beginnings, I have listened to these stories

Now let me tell you mine.
Let me tell you my story.
I am Xontae.
I was born in these lands, and like my father and mother before me, my bones shall be interred here.
Like their bearers before them, this is where my bones shall dry and wither with the wind.
My ancestors walk these hills.
Their spirits have kept me here.
The voices of my elders whisper to me.
These rocks are mine.
Left to me by my ancestors.
Sit with me and let me tell you our story.
Sit with me, let me speak, and you and listen.
Listen for the hills speak through me.
Listen to language of these rocks.
It is my voice that is the vessel of my ancestors.
In actual fact, our voice. yours and mine.
For are we not born of the same mother and father.

Sit with me let me tell you about the white rhino.
Look into the flames and you shall hear my song.
Hold my hand, let us dance the song of the fire.
Do not be afraid of the voices in the trance.
Embrace them, be drunk on them.
It is in their intoxication that you will understand my story.

Do you know that this is the beginning of man.
Are you aware that tjis is where we were born.
My brother, my sister, embrace me for we are of the same blood.

Someday, but not too soon I shall join my ancestors.
The next generation I pray will continue our story.
