As schools are expected to open tomorrow Tuesday the 14th, some schools will not open due to floods. The minister of Child Welfare and Basic Education Ms Nono Kgafela-Mokoka announced this in an interview with BtvNews.

With 16 inmates currently on death row, questions are mounting about whether Botswana will continue its isolated stance or align with the growing regional and global shift toward abolishing the death penalty. Realising societal expectations often helps us decide which ones to follow and which to question. Many people feel the push to follow a traditional right of passage: attend college, secure a job, marry and start a family, but not everyone fits the mould.

In the discussion we are going to talk to Ms Gillian Kgotla who has lived with a condition called Parry Romberg Syndrome from her teen years, a condition which is observed on the left side of the face, the condition may progress for several years before eventually ceasing.
