The high court has frozen assets belonging to former Minister Dr Kefentse Mzwinila. This after the Public Prosecution sought restraining orders against Dr Mzwinila, on his several assets including ploughing fields, residential plots, farms and cash amounting to more than P1 million.

โ€œThere are people who have ZERO VALUES, ZERO PRINCIPLE, ZERO INTEGRITY!

These people are AMOEBAS who have never stood for anything.

Chameleons who change colour at the sight of opportunities.

These are the people who are all over, chanting, "TAKE THE OFFER!"

Today they're saying, "take the offer," under SKI they said to me, "Mmaotho, didimala o tlaa nyelela!"

The interesting part is, when they say these things, they're not talking about me! They're describing themselves!

These are opportunists who will sell their own mothers for money!

What's worse, they don't even know me! People who know me, will never ask me to take the offer. Because they know I'm not wired like that.

Do I love poverty? No!!!

But I will not let anybody think they can disrespect me by buying me!

My NAME, means everything to me! It's my only currency.

I'd rather die poor but with my integrity intact, with my name clean, and still fighting for what I believe in.

I understand your shock. In Botswana, women are people who get dragged by the nose. Who hardly look men in the face and tell them, NO!

If I was a man, many would be pouring accolades. But because I'm a woman, I'm expected to THINK WITH MY STOMACH.

I've told you many times that, I'LL NEVER LET HUNGER MAKE DECISIONS FOR ME!

It's a promise I made to myself, alone. It has got nothing to do with politics or party colours. But cheap, spineless opportunists will never understand that.

Whoever leaked this offer to THE TUESDAY GRILL did me great injustice.

In the past, I've declined offers in private. It's more peaceful. I'd only tell my family and very few friends, to avoid o ne modumo o o ntsogetseng o!!!

Truth is there was a moment of temptation. But when I looked at Caeser, I realized that the meeting wasn't in good faith. That it had nothing to do with my work in making the UDC what it is!

That it had nothing to do with restoring me!

That actually Caeser has zero respect for me...

That it was all to do with my values, principles, integrity and activism. That Caeser wanted to destroy that.

That he wanted to finish me off politically!

That it was a calculated move to weaken BCP...

My blood boiled.

I looked at that man in the eyes and told him, "Caeser, I have political ambition and wanna be a minister like you!"

That stopped him in his tracks. Defeated, he took his phones and left...

So stop telling me to take the offer. It is off the table!

They say that a humble beginning may be all that you need, and this couldnโ€™t be more truer when describing the re launch of Botswanaโ€™s free to air station, Gaborone Broadcasting Corporation (GBC TV) to the now revamped eBotswana. Just a few years shy of three decades, the station has managed to reach its milestone by partnering with South Africaโ€™s well known and celebrated channel, e.tv. eBotswana comes packaged with fresh, vibrant and top notch local and international programming and the brand change takes viewership to a whole new ball game.
