Unavailable to Your Face, Fully Available to Your Name
"There is a peculiar kind of person who claims their schedule is too full to speak to you, yet strangely, their calendar is wide open the moment they have a chance to talk about you.
They are 'too busy' for a conversation, 'too tired' for a resolution, or 'too occupied' for the truth. But watch how quickly that exhaustion vanishes when there is a rumor to spread or a reputation to dissect.
Let’s be clear about one thing here:
Talking about you is an act of control. It allows them to frame the narrative, play the victim, or feel superior without the inconvenience of being challenged by the facts.
Talking to you, however, requires something they aren't ready for: Integrity.
It requires the courage to look you in the eye. It requires the humility to listen. It requires the maturity to realize that life isn't a performance for an audience, but a series of connections between people.
If they have time to analyze your life, but no time to be a part of it, then they have officially disqualified themselves from having a seat at your table.
You are not a character in their play; you are the author of your own story.
So, here is my advice: Let them talk. Let them waste their breath on a version of you that doesn’t even exist.
While they are busy being historians of your past, you stay busy being the architect of your future.
The most powerful response to a room full of gossip isn't a louder voice it’s a life lived so well that their words eventually lose their gravity.
You don't owe an explanation to people who are committed to misunderstanding you.
Your time is a currency.
Stop spending it on people who only want to trade in rumors.
Walk away, keep your head high, and remember: The lion never turns around when the small dogs bark."
In Christ you are never a victim
