Commercial Shawarma wrap recipe....

3 cups of plain flour
2 teaspoons of baking powder
1 tablespoon of sugar
½ teaspoon of salt
2 tablespoons of margarine /butter
1 cup of water

*Mix all dry ingredients together
*Add water and mix
*Add margarine /butter
*Knead the dough until stretchy when sticking add little flour
*Divide your dough and make small balls, place them in a bowl and cover, let it sit for 30mins
*Heat your pan
*On a floured surface roll dough
*Place your dough on a pan cook for 2-3 mins both sides
*Cover them so that they won't be dry

Add filling of your choice or you can enjoy it like that

NB; am not good on rolling so I use a plate to make circles them

📌Put in a zip bag and keep it in the for 3 days or in a freezer for 3 weeks thaw when you want to use them

Egg and Sausage Muffins: Tasty to serve as an appetizer!

INGREDIENTS :

1 tablespoon of butter
1/2 chopped onion
1/2 chopped bell pepper
1 chopped carrot
1/2 teaspoon of salt
3 chopped sausages
4 eggs
50 ml of milk (1/5 cup)
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Chopped parsley
50 g mozzarella cheese, grated.

INSTRUCTIONS
1.In a pan, add the butter and onion, fry for a few minutes, then add the carrots, pepper, salt and black pepper.

In a bowl, mix the eggs with the milk, salt and pepper, then add the vegetable mixture and the parsley.

Put the chopped sausages into the muffin tin and fill with the egg mixture, sprinkle with grated mozzarella cheese.

Bake at 180°C (360°F) for 20 minutes

Pork Chop Marinades (freezer friendly)
Recipe

Teriyaki Marinade:
2 pork chop
1 Tablespoon olive oil
2 Tablespoons pineapple juice
2 Tablespoons teriyaki sauce
2 cloves garlic minced
1 tsp salt

Italian Balsamic Marinade:
2 pork chop
2 Tablespoons olive oil
3 Tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1.5 Tablespoons Italian seasoning
2 cloves garlic minced
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt

Steakhouse Marinade:
2 pork chop
2 Tablespoons olive oil
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 Tablespoon dijon mustard
1 Tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoon Montreal Steak Seasoning

BBQ Marinade:
2 pork chop
1 Tablespoons olive oil
3 Tablespoons bbq sauce
2 teaspoons bbq seasoning
1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Garlic & Herb Marinade:
2 pork chop
3 Tablespoons olive oil
2 Tablespoons lemon juice
2 cloves garlic minced
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1 teaspoon salt

Instructions
Prepare the Marinade:
Add all the marinade ingredients in to small dish and mix together.

Marinate the Pork Chops:
Place the pork chops in a shallow glass or plastic container or bag. Pour the marinade onto the pork, turning it so that all sides of the meat are completely coated.

Cover and refrigerate the pork as it marinates for 2-18 hours.

Alternately, you can seal the bag or container and freeze the pork chop in the marinade for up to 3 months.

🌟 Honey Pineapple Salmon 🌟

Ingredients:

4 salmon fillets 🐟
1/4 cup honey 🍯
1/4 cup pineapple juice 🍍
2 tablespoons soy sauce 🌿
2 cloves garlic, minced 🧄
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger 🌿
1 tablespoon olive oil 🫒
Salt and pepper to taste 🧂
Sliced pineapple and chopped fresh cilantro for garnish (optional) 🍍🌿
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Instructions:

1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
2️⃣ In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, pineapple juice, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
3️⃣ Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Season them with salt and pepper.
4️⃣ Brush the honey pineapple glaze over the salmon fillets, saving some for basting later.
5️⃣ Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until it is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Baste with the remaining glaze halfway through cooking.
6️⃣ Once cooked, remove the salmon from the oven and garnish with sliced pineapple
7️⃣ Serve hot and enjoy!

Air Fryer Garlic Butter Steak Bites and Potatoes 😍😋

Ingredients
3 large potatoes
olive oil + salt pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and dried parsley (for potatoes)
2 Steaks – I used 10 ounce strip steaks
Olive Oil
Salt pepper, & garlic powder
Steak Seasoning

Seasoning
4 TBSP of butter
1 tsp of minced garlic
1 tsp of dried parsley

Instructions
Wash your potatoes and cut up into small cubes
Toss them in olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, paprika, and dried parsley (I don’t use exact measurements for this part)
Cook your potatoes in the air fryer at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes shaking them around at least a couple times while they cook
Once the potatoes are cooking, cut your steak into about 1 inch cubes
Coat the steak bites in olive oil and salt, pepper, garlic powder, and steak seasoning
Once the potatoes are cooked set them aside
Cook steak bites in the air fryer at 400 degrees for about 7 minutes (this got mine about medium)
Melt your butter and stir in minced garlic and dried parsley
Pour the garlic butter over steak bites and serve over the crispy potatoes

What is detoxing?

What are toxins, and are they dangerous?

Toxins can be defined as substances that negatively impact your health. They can be the result of environmental exposure – both intentional (for example, smoking ci******es) or unintentional (for example, drinking contaminated water). They can also be a consequence of basic biological processes, like breathing polluted air.

Modern life exposes us to all kinds of toxins daily, but our bodies are well-developed systems that are fully capable of dealing with and getting rid of them by itself. Through our liver, kidneys, digestive system, respiratory system, and skin, our bodies process and get rid of unwanted or harmful substances.

How can you help your body improve these functions?

• Digestive system – To help take care of your digestive system, eat a healthy, balanced diet.

• Liver – A good diet, consisting of lots of vegetables and fruit, is good for your live. Also make sure to decrease your alcohol intake.

• Kidney – To keep your kidney healthy, drink lots of water, and include wholegrains, legumes, and vegetables in your diet.
