Case Study

Client: TBank

Product: TPay Remit.

Brief: On May 12th 2021, the Royal Monetary Authority of Bhutan announced that there will be a 1% incentive for every remittance to Bhutan. As TBank was the only Bank to have a Remit app in Australia, it was an opportunity to use the new policy in a marketing campaign.

Target Audience: Bhutanese Living in Australia.

Findings: The majority of the Bhutanese are living in Perth, Western Australia.

Marketing Campaign: TBank becomes the Premium Sponsor of a Football team in Perth called the 'Samtse United Perth.' TBank also becomes the 'Gold Sponsor' of the ABPI Cup 2021 in Perth. ABPI stands for Association of Bhutanese in Perth Incorporated (ABPI) with 3700 members in the group.

If you're a content creator, there's a good chance that you've been approached to work for free. Despite the organization's claims of better opportunities and exposure as well as an excellent opportunity to gain some hands-on experience (esp if you're still perfecting your craft), you should always proceed with caution.

Sometimes an opportunity also seems too good to pass on and therefore we are more than eager to be part of a project just to add that additional feather to our caps.

Whatever your reasons may be, our main advice to you is that you never ever look at these free work opportunities from a state of desperation.

Pricing your products correctly can be tricky but it is imperative that you do this well. You cant just slap a number on it and call it a day.

Remember, no price is too high if the customer is willing to pay. So make sure you target the right customers who will value your brand and your products. And make sure to talk to them, understand where their budget lies and what they'll be willing to pay.
