Few tips to improve cinematography

1 Take enough lights, you dont know when you might need the extra one.
2 Check the equipment you are using before the shoot starts and and Look for the gears that makes you comfortable if it's your call.
3 Take the lens of your choice. I prefer 24-70mm f2.8, 70-200mm f2.8 and macro lens 50mm. Because at the end you are the one who compose the shot.
4 Study the location just dont blindly assume the shot and place the camera.
5 Try to play with the camera angles, camera movements and focus as well.
6 Watch out for headrooms, looking room and leading rooms.
7 180 degree is merely a rule, you can bent it sometimes to change the perspective of the composition.
8 Play with the lights too. Lowering the whole light inside a camera in a bright sunny day sometime gives you a totally different call.
9 Understand the script well.
10 Watch more of a Cinematic good films
11 Think out of the box, for instance sometimes using the wheel chairs even gives you a perfect dolly shots.

And finally, take the suggestions. It's a best hack if you want to pull yourself up.
