I was in the second season of Vibration and continued to enjoy the inspiring and engaging conversations with my guests, who are visionaries and entrepreneurs from throughout The Bahamas. I took this photo after an episode, and true to the song on the background: I couldn't be happier. Two years later, I must say that I still have the same (or even more) joy than I had that day, although I've expanded in so many ways since then.
To all of my Vibration fans, season 4 will happen this year! My journey as a creative has continued to bloom with acting and it has connected me deeper to the creative sector that I've always supported.
I feel incredibly happy, thankful and blessed for the abundance of opportunities and support I've received and continue to receive throughout my life and thank you for being a part of my journey.

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and in partnership with the Bahamas Social Workers Association (BSWA), I'll be sharing insight and statistics on child abuse in The Bahamas.
Child abuse is:
○ Medical
○ Physical
○ Spiritual
○ Financial
○ Mental
○ Verbal
Child abuse statistics in The Bahamas include:
● 391 reported cases of abuse
● Most abuse cases involved sexual abuse, with 51 reported cases up to March, an increase from 28 in 2022.
● Physical abuse accounted for 43 of the reported abuse cases this year.
● There were also 30 reports of neglect and 13 of educational neglect.

There's nothing like a taste of The Bahamas and supporting our local culture.
Today, I reconnected with one of my favorite things to eat (as well as a crop grown in abundance here in The Bahamas), sugar cane. Today, I received an extra treat by tasting fresh sugar cane juice for the first time and it was quite refreshing! I would recommend it chilled or with ice to bring out its truest flavor.
My next stop was The New Duff, whose adoration and elevation of the Bahamian guava duff is heartfelt and screams Bahamian pride. Today, I had a trio of ginger pork bao buns that were just what I needed for a delicious bite.
