It's done!

I finally finished this poster for our friends from Gallifrey Resiste. After 23 days of designing the concept, modeling Gallifrey, creating this environment, and compositing, that's the result!

This render went wrong... But here it is. I didn't finish the render so it ends in the middle of the simulation.

What do you think? I think it's good, but I need to improve my Houdini skills.

I rendered it. Looks very nice, isn't it?

I made the simulation in Houdini, then I exported it as an alembic file. Then imported it into Cinema 4D and made this render using V-Ray.

Let's see what's coming hahah. After caching, I will try to render it and post the result here.

It's just a test of how this flip simulation works and I'll try to use it in the title sequence.

That's cool. I like it!

It processes faster than realflow in cinema 4d, but I don't know if I actually need to make it in Houdini since I use corona render in c4d and it still doesn't have a VDB importer. Or should I render it right inside Houdini and assemble everything later in compositing?

I was trying to learn water simulation in Realflow for Cinema 4D. Take a look:

But I think I could try to make it in Houdini. It might be a lot easier and using Houdini is so good, so I think I could try.

It will also be into the title sequence!

Today I made a lot of progress.

I learned how to to make particles from X-Particles be driven by Turbulence FD. This is awesome! Now the particles look very fluid, and I'll use it when the Tardis lands in the ocean.

BUT, I'm thinking about making these particles in Houdini... Should I?

Finally, I opened this again and now I'm confident that I'll finish this part in some days.

Actually, I need a hard drive of at least 4TB for caching water simulation and an amount of RAM to handle it and also to handle the high-res ocean and high-res cliffs I made in Houdini.

I just exported an asset I made in Houdini to Cinema 4D. This is awesome!

That's my very first time using this software and I'm already falling in love with it. Now I'll test the settings of this, texture it, and import it into the project as I said on Twitter.

Aí tá o vídeo que eu falei nos últimos posts. Eu tinha esquecido de postar aqui na página k*k mas lembrei hoje porque eu estou fazendo mudanças nas configurações do canal. E por falar nisso, eu to querendo entrar em outras redes sociais, então f**a de olho aí na página e no canal.

Só pra lembrar que eu ainda tô fazendo a abertura que eu "anunciei" no final da V3 da Abertura da 11ª temporada (que aliás eu tava pensando em fazer outra... k*kk).

Eu ainda não vou falar que abertura é essa, mas esse cenário na foto (tem como ver melhor no canto inferior direito) é de um lugar destruído, em guerra...

Eu só dei uma pausa porque eu tinha outros vídeos pra fazer e meu computador não ia renderizar ela, mas agora que descobri essa RenderFarm é só criar outra conta pra usar os créditos que a gente ganha e renderizar lá k*kkk \o/

Até eu tô ansioso pra ver como vai f**ar...
