If you have ever read any of my post from last year and/or last two years

You really need to understand those times were my period of growth

And then, even me the writer did not even understand what I was typing and posting.

All what I knew then was that I was writing what I was literally taught.......

It sounds funny right?
Funny to me too😃

And here is the catch.......
Those content that I created really made an impact in my growth

There is this teacher of mine that away says the more you teach people the more you get to personally understand it

And as time passed by I myself began to gain understanding.......

Well if you are the type that says I will wait for the right time.........

The bitter truth behind that statement is that the right time will never come (PERIOD)

And that is why Facebook have timeline

The timeline would literally show your progress, and how you grew from total ignorance into someone that people now admire.

So I have a honest truth I would like to share with you.

But first.....
I want you to know that the success of your will for ever depends on your marketing effort

I just want you to understand this......

Marketing many years ago and what we are doing now so called digital marketing might be related.

But I can assure you that the game has completely changed.

Presently many local store and shops are giving the highest credit to

A huge fraction of people that went to universities and colleges for a marketing degree are currently on YouTube.......

Watching a 18yrs old boy that is talking about how he his hitting it really big in the digital marketing space.

Call any of them to a corner and ask to tell you how important digital marketing is to companies today.

I'm sure you will open up your mouth

And that is why many of them are purchasing online digital marketing courses.

I'm not talking ill anyone's degree or cert

But if you know you would like to run a business or become an entrepreneur sooner or later........

Or maybe you are already one here is just what I want you to know.

Investing in digital marketing would be the best decision you will ever make for your business in this day we are......

Maybe you do not have much resources for that now,

but I can assure you there are myraids of free and useful resources out there that can keep you on the track.

If only you will be ready to invest your time....

Just tell me what your business goal is and I will assure you that the online space is capable of achieving it.....

- Is it to build a reputable brand,
-grow your customers list,
-gain more awareness
-get leads for your business and so on

Take Facebook for instance
Facebook accommodate over 2billion active users every month

Notice I said billion not million........ So will you tell me that a consistent in flow of client for your business can't come in each and every month???

Being in this field for quite a while now......

Here is simply why I would always disagree with people that wants to buy followers.

Especially on Instagram.........

So assuming you just newly opened an Instagram account.

and according to the algorithms your post will keep appearing to the people interested in what you are doing.

So let's say you always have a daily increase of a few followers.

There is nothing bad in that I can assure you.

But you can spot a problem the moment you check your engagement.

and noticed that you have Increased followers with no effect on your engagement.

You see, whenever you post daily on your Instagram profile and due to those post you normally get few followers.......

I can assure you that those followers are basically people interested in what you are doing.

So no matter how little it is there should always be an increased in engagement also.

What I mean by that is those like and comments you are getting is simply a pure way to show that your profile growth is synchronized with the relevant people.

So someone proposed an offer to you that he will sell a certain amount of followers for you just for a very little amount of cash

You fell victim and you bought followers like they always says........

In 99.9 out of 100 cases you just succeeded in ruining the way your profile growth works.

Basically you have just told Instagram that I don't need your help in showing my contents to the relevant people.

So you ask me what do I in order to grow my followers............

If you have the time to do that well I will just say it in one sentence

"Give value first and you'd get followers next"

But if you are a busy type that is always occupied by the day to day activities of your business

Then the simplest answer to yours is that you should employ someone to do that for you.

So that you'd be able to focus on the most relevant aspect of your business.

Wait

If you would like to buy a cake the following morning, who would you really want to get the cake from? 🤔

That is what upfront value-giving can do to your business ✨

Many online businesses will continue to struggle. 📉

Because these business owners keep taking advice from the wrong source. 🚫

If your business is looking for ways to grow its audience base and get more customers online, 📈

then taking some kind of advice from influencers won't help your business... ❌

Influencers really need as many followers as possible because that is how they make their own cash. 💰

But you, 😊

if you are not planning to become an influencer, then getting too many followers should never be on your list of priorities. 📜

I did not say it is bad, but the idea here is simple. 💡

You are looking for an audience that would definitely convert into loyal customers. 💯

I mean people that will purchase from you and will even be so happy to refer your service to people around them. 🤝

And not just ordinary followers who are just hanging around your profile because they are being entertained. 🎭

Rather than trying to please everyone, you should be determined in attracting your customers. 💪

If what you are definitely posting is something that would attract your ideal customers, ✨

A friend and I were on a ride to a restaurant few weeks ago.....

And we suddenly passed by a very beautiful shop

we noticed that the owner really spent a lot of resources in beautifying the place

So we start thinking what might be sold in there!!!

We didn't knew it was a cafeteria on time......

In fact we concluded that the place might be a cafeteria.....

Whenever you are passing by a store or any local shop.

And you can't really see what they are selling or doing in there, what is there first thing you will look for???

A signboard about the store right??

That wasn't our case....... We gave our own conclusion that the place would certainly be a cafeteria

What if it wasn't a cafeteria....... And maybe something else.

So the reason for the mistake would be because we didn't see any signboard or anything that signify what was done in there.

That is it also for your business page on Facebook.

I have seen a lot of people on some groups saying that they don't get any client patronizing them from their pages

But the truth is whenever I check these people's page

I always discover that they don't have anything that speaks about what they do in the front of their pages.

This is actually an error they are supposed to avoid but they ignore

Take for instance
If it were your potential client that came across your business page

And he did not find anything that speaks of how you can help him solve his problem in the front of your page.

Why did you now expect him to wait and patronize you .......... Would you personally patronize what you don't know??

Give your Facebook business page or profile the look that attract potential customers

- Use a professional picture,
- Do a flyer that briefly explain what you do for your cover photo,
- Write a short bio on how you can help your target audience solve their problem.

And you are good to go.

This two things gotten correctly will make your business succeed online

1️⃣ A reliable source to get traffic that could become quality leads

2️⃣ A system to convert those leads into paying client

But has simple has this sounds, don't think that is how easy it is.

The idea behind any digital marketing agency pitch is simply to sell you this two stuff.

This guys already have a trusted traffic source.

And the biggest whales in the room are Facebook ads and google AdWords.

Based on the metrics and past results other businesses have gotten through these sources of traffic.

It would simply look like a very wicked act not to give you a try.

Take for instance you are a consultant and for you to succeed you need just 10 to 20 client per month.

If you have a very good lead conversion system i.e if you are very good at converting leads to paying client

Then let's assume your conversion rate is 10%.

Then definitely you need traffic source to get you a minimum of 100 leads.

It's a very simple maths.

Let's take another example.

Let's say you run an e-commerce business and you've done your research on a certain product

And you are sure that people need the product on your store.

Now, Posting from one group to the other will really be time consuming and really stressful.

And in most cases your store might not be patronized by doing so.

So what is the way out???

You guessed that correctly, 😉 You need a traffic source that would send interested people to your store.

I never understood this before.

But thanks to Facebook ads........

There are possibility to getting quality leads from Facebook.

For the amount of active users to the interest based targeting option and so on.

This my friend, Is a big win for your business.

There is this one question that will always bump into the mind of everyone that just finished learning a new skill.

That was my own personal experience when I started online also......

I will always look at how saturated and crowded my niche was and will always shake my head.

But at the end of the day I later discovered how someone can get the first in flow of client without even spending money on ads first.

And it is called SOI

Honestly speaking I never knew that there is a term for this stuff

but what really matters was that I later got to know about SOI blah blah blah

SOI is simply the abbreviation of SPHERE OF INFLUENCE

I discovered it while reading through a real estate agent post.

You see here is how it helped me actually......

When I started online.... I will always think my first client will be the one to change everything for me.

But it wasn't so, I did some little prospecting and evangelizing here and there but the results were horrible.

All of a sudden I started doing some free work for people around me.

I.E my friends, colleagues and most especially family and even past business customers.

I never worked for their money some of them compensated me and some was just a thank you.

And that was how I got recognize and began to receive referrals........

So I later figured it out that my first set of clients never came from people that were outside my sphere of influence.

So my friend, that is it.

Your first set of client will never come out of the woods straight to your door and start begging for your service.

But the rather, they are people you've already known before..........

Take for instance, you are a baker and you bake and sell bread 🍞 to a supermarket at a retail price.

And now you began to bake tasty and delicious cakes 🎂, where is the first place that will come to your mind to sell your cake???

I am sure you guessed that correctly

Don't be shy telling you friends, colleagues and family that you are now confident about your craft and could work for them if your service is needed

If you are a website designer, speak to your personal doctor about your new skill

Take your time as a graphic designer to observe designs that are around you and speak to the people in your sphere of influence about it.

Offer them free service ..... In exchange for nothing or if there will be anything then it should be only testimonials

If they give you money fine if they don't give you all is well.

1️⃣ They don't need what you are selling........ And in some cases, they need it but they don't know that they need it.

So I will simply say they have agreed with themselves that they don't want that your product or service. 🤷‍♀️🛒

2️⃣ They want but they don't trust getting it from you........... This one is just a matter of trust. 😕

They are already aware of the problem they need a product or service, but they tend to ignore your advert.

Because they don't trust getting that thing from you. ❌👀

3️⃣ Now the third one is that they don't have enough conviction that your product or service will definitely work for them.

So how do you solve all this problem?

It is simply by giving your prospect more information as possible. ℹ️

People will keep jumping from one website to the other, from one social media profile to another......... Until they have definitely gathered enough information. 🌐🔍

Now they will buy. 💯💸

It is a very simple step.

Don't always try to sell to your potential customers at first.

It is just like seeing a very beautiful lady for the very first time and asking for s£x.

Your chances of getting that s£x is very slim.

So here is what to do!

So I was on reddit yesterday and I saw something that really amazed me......

I was working on a certain niche market and audience research and suddenly I came across a post that really gave me a very good shock of my life

This certain person went on Chatgpt, gave his prompt so well and the badboy popped up a very well crafted article......

The fellow then took it that same way without changing anything on it and posted it on a group on reddit.......

You see I really understand the fact that we are presently in a day whereby AI is really trending...........
...... And so for you to make more money, generate more leads and create more content much more easier you need to make use of Chatgpt or other AI software

But that does not take away your ability to think and be creative away from you

What I mean by that is this.......You see this AI stuff is really here to open us up to a new era......... Which will also come with it's bad sides also

May God help us!!!

AI could eventually be what your business is looking for to succeed and might not.......

But first you need to understand that to be very effective using AI you need to know how to use the prompt well to get the best response

Secondly, never assume that all what the AI wrote could be perfect........ Be ready to tweak some word, do some adjustments before posting it on whatever platform you'd love

The last thing I want to say here today is that when you are using all this AI platform to create content, always remember that it is human being that would read and not another AI

So after getting what you need from it, add experience to it...... Remember that storytelling is a very effective salesman

When something begins to trend and people start seeing it everywhere

They become curious and hungry for more information.......

At that point no info is ever enough

So if you become a reliable source at that point then your audience will recognize you and your page for what you do

But always make sure what is trending is aligned with your brand before participating
