World DJ Day happens every March 9th. It marks the death anniversary of an iconic DJ called Alan Freed, aka Moondog, credited with popularizing DJing! World DJ Day celebrates amateur and professional disc jockeys alike, whether they play in front of a live audience, in clubs, on radio, or at parties! The first-ever DJ stemmed from an experiment on the radio when the young Ray Newby played records on air in 1909. It created a movement that started in California and spread to the rest of the world!

Sono vivo, e grazie a Dio posso raccontarlo.
Ringrazio dal profondo del mio cuore tutti voi, i miei parenti, amici, conoscenti, e i tantissimi DJ e promoter che mi hanno dimostrato così tanto affetto in questi giorni. Sono commosso. Non sono ancora riuscito a leggere e rispondere i messaggi ma lo farò tra qualche giorno quando starò meglio. Fino a stamattina non avevo nemmeno la forza di parlare, ma dicono i medici che il peggio è passato ormai. Chiedo solo una cosa se è possibile, un po’ di rispetto nei confronti di mio padre e della mia famiglia, poiché ne io e ne nessuno di voi ha il potere e il dovere di giudicare ciò che è accaduto. I drammi familiari sono all’ordine del giorno, e soprattutto attenzione alla stampa poiché come ben sapete le notizie sono spesso confuse e poco veritiere.
Perdono mio padre per il f***e gesto e prego tanto per lui.
Ora penso a guarire. A presto 💝
