Agent X : "I wrote a song called 'Palestine' early on, as a statement of intent. Just to tell everyone where I stood. It was less about Palestine and more about the bigger picture - imperialism and the rest of it.

'Palestine' was a fitting title.

And then.....two months after I released the original version of the song, the genocide began.

Since then, Gaza has been keeping me awake at night, for obvious reasons. Awkwardly, the song, too, started to haunt me after Oct 7. It was unfinished business that needed doing. It needed to stop being about the bigger picture. I needed 'Palestine' to process Palestine.

So this is where I'm at, some 30,000 lost lives later.
