7 years ago, we were utterly clueless! 😵‍💫

7 years later, still quite clueless tbh lol although about different things than those we were 7 years prior, we’re sharing with international students who’re yet to start their journeys, what we had to discover and navigate ourselves in a foreign territory previously unbeknownst to us — its language we didn’t speak, people we didn’t know and environment we couldn’t comprehend. Ofc, we’re not masters of this land already, but we’re not novice(s) anymore ;)

I don't understand the Pakistanis who start targeting overseas Pakistanis as soon as they start talking about Pakistani politics or affairs, in general.
Get over the fact that Overseas Pakistanis are the ones who "ran away" because that's not the case, Mr/Ms Patriotic. Instead, the reality is that we made the "efforts" and took "actions" that enabled us to become competent enough to be able to eventually go abroad and serve in roles through which we'd gain valuable experience and, of course, the money, that'll in turn enable us to serve the country and its people for longer and better - after all, one can only do so much with empty pocket and open mouth. All in all, we think long-term and that's what makes the West successful and, since we don't follow the same approach as a society, we remain stagnant & unsuccessful!
P.S. No need to take this personally because I'm not writing this to start a debate, but to communicate a very valid perspective/point, which most people miss!
