I chopped the subframe shorter and it just wasnāt enough. I needed it cleaner. After a s**t tonne of back and forth on how to better mount the tail light we just kinda realisedā¦ why mount the tail light on the subframe at all. Letās just put it somewhere else and leave the frame cleanš¤·š»āāļø

If you were told you couldnāt ride anymoreā¦ would you be happy with all youāve experienced?
Iāve been contemplating life a lot and itās weird. I had the biggest accident Iāve ever had, even had major surgery in my right foot, and not one person (at least among the people who matter to me) has said anything negative to me about riding bikes
Even my doctors (without me even asking them) didnāt hesitate to assure me that a year or so from now Iāll be back to riding bikes without any issues
ā¦ with so much belief all around meā¦ why am I hesitating so much?

There are 9000 of you who chose to follow me despite everything. You donāt even see my posts, they donāt even reach your feed, yet somehow you havenāt unfollowed me. And I donāt know if itās because youāre bot accounts, or you just forgot you follow me or if itās the least likely but nicest to think option: that you saw something in my content even I didnāt see.
I could go on and on and on about all my personal problems,
my depressions such as my personal problems with my family
Or my anxieties such as the fact that not ONE of the people who I thought were my friends wished me on my birthday despite me even telling some of them days before that it was coming upš
Or my financial and health problemsā¦ the fact that I havenāt been able to bring myself to have a desk job in whatā¦ 6 months? Or all my struggles with getting myself to consistently work out.
Or my fears with trying to establish myself independently, as a freelancer.
ā¦. But letās be honest, Iām not the only one with issues š
So hereās what, letās be real right now. If you donāt care about any of this, if you donāt care about my content or what Iām trying to do or who I am or trying to be or the community that weāre trying to build, unfollow me right now.
To the rest who chose not to, I promise you guys, anything I post going forward will be content that I make with effort and care and do my best to be real with you, while trying to keep it entertaining. Going forward I put effort or I donāt do anything at all and hopefully in the process, Iāll find that passion again. The passion that brought you here in the first place.
Iām about to enter a new phase in my life. Not all my content is going to be about Kirin anymore. Iāve gotten an opportunity to travel for work and a lot of my content is also going to be about that now, while Iāll be coming back to the cafe racer build in my down time. There is still a long journey ahead of me and Iāve found that Iām constantly evolving. So hereās hoping that I evolve for the better and that you all stick around to see it. :)

I think it started with losing what I thought was my dream job at autoX. Working at an automotive magazine writing about cars and bikes seemed like the dream. But working there adulterated what my dream originally was. I wasnāt in the editorial team doing the Glamorous work you see in their magazines and YouTube channels. I was behind the scenes, writing SEO content day in and day out, and getting very little for it. My job there always teetered on the edge and there was never any real security, despite all the work I did. I realised I wasnāt where I wanted to be. Eventually I had a bad experience and was forced to leave very soon after that.
When youāve been looking for that one opportunity that you always wanted, and you think you got it but itās adulterated and taken away from you?ā¦ itās hard to recover from that. Iāve lost so many jobs in the past and never caredā¦ but this one? It was tough on me.
But I digressā¦ I forgot about it, did my best to move on, and dug myself into creating content. But I found that with content creation and social media, it was more of the same. Getting nowhere. And Iāve put so much more time into social media.
So over the last year or so my approach to social media changed. I gave up on quality, because it was taking so much effort and with no results, and put everything into consistency. Irrespective of what I was posting.
I think that was a mistake. I forgot all about what I loved about what im doing here. The fact that my passion for automotive, cars and bikes and my experience with Kirin attracted and built a community. Thatās what it was about no? About all of us sharing our passions. Not just me trying to cater to you all.

I wanted to take a minute to say a few things. And you can choose to be a part of it if you want, or notā¦ itās a free world. These next three posts are no hashtags, no bs. Just real talk.
I turned 28 last weekend and it got me reflecting on things. Iām about to enter a new phase in my life and Iām not sure how I feel about it.
Letās address the elephant in the room though, I know I havenāt been the best content creator in the last couple of years. The last two years to be precise.
Tbh, I find myself more and more wanting to give up and donāt seem to have the passion for content creation like I once had.
You gotta understand, Iāve been doing this for YEARS, and though I shouldnāt compare myself to others, itās hard to ignore that newer content creators grew faster than me and are now big names in the industry, while I am probably only a few steps ahead of where I originally started all those years ago.
When you see things like that, itās really hard to believe in yourself.
But you know what? For a long time I kept trying, kept telling myself motivational quips, and kept finding my passion for all things automotive. I had a fire and a belief for a very long timeā¦ until I finally didnāt.

Spent some time today shooting updates for you guys. Explaining the transmission issue and all that.
Also the 16t sprocket is in and god it feels so good.
The gear ratios are back to normal, the low range rev band is so much smoother, and I expect better mileage and less stress on my transmission at the same time, soooo much more top end. The 16t is a must with the 17 inch rim conversion ngl.
Dropping a bunch of content tomorrow, plus a YouTube video sort of quickly going over the whole thing.
And no, Iām not feeling up Kirin in this shot. But if I was, would you blame me? Itās that vibeš

I get so many questions about this headlight constantly. So Iām gonna do my best to answer them here.
- I picked up this unit from autofy on Amazon.
- It was the best cost effective option I could find for a whole headlight unit
- donāt ask me how much it cost. I donāt remember š
- but itās lasted me quite a while and still runs decent
- itās got decent throw but the throw qualityās really gone down over the years. Still pretty usable at night tho
- also the alignment of the high beam is just a tad off
Would I recommend you buy this? Not really. Either get something more expensive and weāll reputed or there is plenty you could do in the stock headlight housing with a better bulb and relay setup. Which is what I plan to do next.

Riding around a stock these days got me thinking about Kirinās early days running 18 inch rims and tyres.
Tbh if it wasnāt for the way we used to ride I might have stuck to 18s back then. But then I think about how bad the rideability was and how difficult and expensive it is to get good tyres? And that thought leaves my mind as quick as it arrived.
You might be able to make do with āmehā basic tyres on an interceptor. I have a lot of touring in my future this year so I get this feeling that Iāll get to feel that out for sure. And itās not like the setup doesnāt work. For basic purposes that is.
But on the ? Man. 17 inch rims and tyres make SUCH a big difference.
Itās been kinda humbling riding around this stock Interceptor these last couple of days.
While the GT is a class apart and oh so rippable, something has to be said about the comfort that comes with a stock Interceptorš«

Thinking back to this mod I did roughly 1.5 years ago, the look of it was absolutely bussinā I think we all agree on that. Why did I remove it then? A lot of you guys have asked me that.
Tbh witchyu the look is all that worked for this rim.
The quality of this rim was absolutely trash and barely held on for a month. Granted I run stiffer suspension but this rim was just a whole new class of horrible.
-The paint jobās quality was trash and the rim was susceptible to bending very easily.
-To think this rim costs around 6k plus is an absolute joke.
- the Himalayan rim Iām running on the front now? 1.2k thatās it. And it hasnāt bent ONCE in over a year of actual abuse.
If youāre looking to do a 17 inch conversion, donāt go for this brandās rims. Get yourself a much cheaper OEM Himalayan rim.
Since weāre on the topic though, should I bring back this paint job?
