Maelstrom & Louisahhh drop their take on Japanese-Belgian duo Aili’s single ‘Fashion’! It’s the final rework of original tracks taken from Aili’s debut album Nandakke? which has proven to be one of 2024’s breakout hits.

The French producer and US-born, Paris based artist-activist serve a critique on today’s fast fashion and fashion addicts. With its overdriven bass, corroded industrial beats and Louisahhh’s own interpretation of Aili’s Japanese vocals this version of ‘Fashion’ is one tailor made for strobe lit Berlin warehouses (rather than the catwalks of Paris or Tokyo).

‘Nandakke? (Remixed)’ showcases reimaginings by both esteemed and emerging producers such as Kasper Bjørke, Terr & Daniel Watts, Gaiko, Paresse, and Maelstrom & Louisahhh. The full EP is out now on all digital platforms.

Next to dates in Mexico and Europe, Aili will perform a series of live shows as a supporting act for the French band L’Impératrice on their European ‘Pulsar’ tour. They will also be playing in January.

The Yellow Collection 2016 vs. Post Malone 2024

When our designer Jason suggested this picture by for the artwork of The Yellow Collection back in 2016, we instantly loved his idea. It was part of Gonzalo's series "Entre la vida y la muerte" and when we reached out to him, he replied he liked the idea and was ok with Jason turning his picture into black and white - to fit the concept of the colour collection. Two weeks ago Post Malone's new album F-1 Trillion was released, with an artwork by Gonzalo Lebrija. Love it! 💛

Hermanos Inglesos are releasing a brand new version of ‘Wanderland’ featuring the enchanting voice of Lara Chedraoui, lead singer of Belgian cult indie band ‘Intergalactic Lovers’.

The new version is backed by a remix by Greek disco god NTEIBINT: "Wanderland feels like an 80s hit song you already knew and loved. So my disco remix came out naturally, more like Prince doing Scandinavian disco. Drums, bass and Lara's silky vocals on top."

The music of 'Wanderland' takes you back to that lovely time of carefree fun, whether it was during the children's disco, at school camp or somewhere else. Wanderland is co-produced by Bert Libeert of GOOSE and the artwork is made by Max Drekker.

Kasper Bjørke takes Fashion by Aili to Cosmic Disco Heaven!

No stranger to Eskimo Recordings, Danish producer Kasper Bjørke returns to take the razor to previous Aili single Fashion and deliver a dreamy cosmic remix. Teasing the track apart, Bjørke applies a soft gossamer gauze to Fashion’s already languid bass line and gives the song’s laidback disco rhythm even more room to breathe, allowing Aili’s vocals to float up into the night sky and allow the track to take its place amongst the stars.

A kaleidoscopic sonic riot, Belgium-Japanese duo Aili’s debut album Nandakke? has proven to be one of 2024’s breakout hits, its joyful collision of electro-pop, electronica, house music and so much more grabbing the attention of everyone from the Belgian national press to the likes of KCRW in the United States.

First released back in 2013, You Man’s debut EP Restless -and its lead track Birdcage- launched the career of French duo Tepat Huleux and Giac Di Falco, kickstarting a decade of stunning live shows played all around the globe and acclaimed releases and remixes on labels such as as Tronik Youth’s NEIN, Boston Bun’s Circa’99 and Eskimo Recordings. Now, to celebrate their first ten years in the game Huleux and Di Falco have revisited their debut EP, and this time they’ve brought along some of the many friends they’ve made over the past decade, from house legend Etienne de Crécy to pianist Des Jonquilles.

With its chugging 109 bpm beat and a melody that switches from throbbing minimalism to something tantalisingly close to a full-on Ibiza sunrise moment, the EP’s lead track Birdcage has never strayed too far from discerning DJs record bags but across several new versions here we get to see it reinterpreted in thrilling new ways. Here the track is given a darker techno makeover courtesy of Duro Records Theus Mago.
