Growing up, my parents encouraged me to read newspapers at least three times a week so I could get familiar with vocabularies. It wasn’t easy and I would sometimes sleep while reading. I preferred to stay right before the TV to watch presenters talk and gesticulate. I would imitate them in my closet and sometimes hit myself for not getting it right. Seeing myself in such position was my utmost priority.

I am not where I want to be yet but I’m trailing certain steps and i am on that path.

Building this self confidence while expressing myself is authentic💯. It is not as easy as it appears but it is achievable regardless. I am a proud mic handler and for a while, that ability to analyze and proffer possible solutions to issues that are of societal concern has invigorated me to be resilient and always ready to engage people in this course.

Development so far, i am not afraid to see a situation from a variety of angles. I tend to understand a situation as organically as possible by asking the right questions at the right time, rather than bend a situation to my own will. I have activated my sense of awareness to see the bigger picture first, but then break a situation down into the finer details to see what is really going on underneath😇the importance of this cannot be overstated enough. It is progress indeed and I’m grateful to God for growth 🙏😭

My keypads will definitely fail me when I start typing all I’m grateful for 🥺😭
