Stealth camping… Probably one of my least favourite things but I still do it occasionally because well…sometimes you don’t have a choice.If you’ve lived in a van I’m sure you’ve stealth camped a couple times for one reason or another.Some tourist hot spots make it next to impossible to visit unless you’re rich, so sleeping at a trailhead or on the side of the road in a residential neighborhood is the only way to do it.To keep it real - if you’re going to stealth camp, don’t be a d*ck about it. Don’tin the bush. Don’t pee in someone’s front yard. Don’t take up someone’s parking spot outside their house. Show up late at night and leave early. Don’t cook your meals there. Simply go to sleep, do not disturb and leave And if you want to come at me or anyone for stealth camping you clearly haven’t experienced the struggles of living in a vehicle - and you’d be shocked to know how many people stealth camp EVERYWHERE every single night.Happy stealth camping #vanlife #solofemalevanlife #stealthcamping

Type 2 fun? Type 3 fun? I’m not even sure at this point.I’ve done a lot of multiday hiking back home but this New Zealand tramp was one of the most wild I’vehard to capture and put into words what we really experienced on this trip.Bushwhacking, river crossings, mud, route finding, scrambling, dead possums everywhere and so much more. We got into some pretty neat areas that I feel lucky to have experienced.Shoutout to my kiwi mate for this hearty adventure and always being down for cool sh!t! 3 day solo kayak trip was so lovely & needed :)Not gonna lie I was a bit annoyed with the boater that went by the shore super close when I was packing because my kayak got tossed and all my stuff got wet:/ He had ample opportunity to get away from the shore but probably didn’t realize how annoying boat wakes can be for kayakers haha oh well #seakayaking #soloadventure #solofemaletraveler
