6 out of 7 necks in the current run have been fretted. (The last one is way behind, waiting for me to summon the courage to bend wooden headstock binding, so the fretboard is not even glued on).

The ovangkol one at the top is going to final sanding soon, one tele is next up for fret levelling and dressing, the rest are waiting for their turn.

DIY shielding paint:
Time has come to shield the cavities in a few of the current builds, and I discovered that the stewmac paint went all dry on me (again). So this time, instead of spending another 50 eur, I decided to try and mix my own. I have some acrylic paint that I bought to paint the insides of the JEM tree-of-life inlay, I mix that 1:1 with graphite powder, thinning the paint with 50% water first. 2g paint + 3g water + 2g graphite coats all cavities on one guitar.
Not bad.

From the ashes of and old V, a new V is born.

Or in plain English:
I built a neck-thru V a few year ago and the walnut wings left behind to triangilar pieces of wood that are enough for a new V. So here it is. To glue the angled piece I first cut off the top of the triangle and glued two pieces to the side. Then the following day I had three flat places to clamp perpendicular to the centerline.

Twin tele's, one's going to be a modified take on the Richie Kotzen tele, the other one is a pinecaster with furniture wood and the cheapest hardware I could find. I wonder how they'll compare 😬
