Word is out: Studio Sandy brightens up your Winter with a brand-new light festival!

8 original installations will illuminate the city centre of Zottegem, Belgium from 23 till 25 February 2024. Inspired by the grand figure of Lamoraal count of Egmont, we will bring to life the rich local history with modern technologies and a unique soundtrack.

Cannot wait to collaborate with local participants on this audiovisual celebration..

De eerste installatie is in opbouw, Wormhole, door de mannen van Staf&Stiel. 3 meter hoog en 14 meter lang. Als het ware word je letterlijk en figuurlijk meegezogen! 15 tot 17 oktober Leuven

⚡ Het aftellen is gestart! Tijdens het weekend van 15 tot 17 oktober kan je het lichtparcours op KNAL! START ontdekken, een wandeling van 1,5 km met 10 lichtinstallaties in het authentieke Abdij van Park te Leuven.
Met kunstenaars: Nele F**k, Wow, tBEDRIJF, Tamar Frank (Lightspace), 88888, Niels Blondeel (AMyn ), Marjolijn van Heemstra en Staf&stiel

💥Van 15 tem 17 oktober cureren we een lichtparcour tijdens KNAL, een stadsfestival over het ontstaan van de kosmos.
Wandel met de nieuwsgierigheid van een ruimtereiziger door het prachtige Abdij van Park en geniet van videomapping, lichtinstallaties en soundscapes. ⚡️voor 30CC

Production company Studio Sandy visually captures and translates the essence of your story.

Film, animation and text all get tangled up in the tentacles of Belgian collective Studio Sandy. Members Lisa Tahon, Nele F**k and Phéline Thierens blend their distinct skill sets into playful but powerfully cinematographic work. They mix and match the right concepts with the right projects, and deliver elegant results. Lisa is a documentary filmmaker and director, who discovers poetry in every project she takes on. Nele is a very technically skilled filmmaker, who specialises in animation and conceptual video mapping. Phéline is a translator and dramaturg, whose background in theatre helps transform concepts into filmic compositions.
