A kaleidoscope of modern sounds and tastes. This dream came to fruition under the moniker of Nachtschade, now one of Ghent’s Urgent.fm (*) most popular shows.

When music connoisseurs Jan Devriese and Leslie Verbeeck discovered each other’s towering record collections back in 2011, they knew they had finally met their equal. Aside from a mutual devotion to all things musical, both dreamed of hosting a radio show to share with the world their views on what a set is supposed to sound like. Broadcasted every Sunday evening from 11pm until 12am (CET) - in th

e twilight zone between weekend and work week (**). Only then, in this most peaceful crevice of the week, can you enjoy a unique mix of music both tantalizing and relaxing. A kaleidoscope of fresh sounds and timeless discoveries allowing all true music lovers to unwind. Nachtschade has done label specials for electronic music legends such as Apollo Records and the Berlin-based Project Mooncircle. Amatorski, Nosedrip and Pomrad have also contributed to Nachtschade’s ever burgeoning repertoire. In 2014 the two gents from Ghent will see their first physical release, performing live alongside Mount Kimbie & Douglas Dare and collaborating with American independent record label; Ghostly International. Those who enjoy radio shows such as Gilles Peterson Worldwide, Solid Steel and Duyster should not miss out on the surprises Nachtschade has and will continue to dish out! http://www.nachtschade.net
