We get much response on our FT8 (and FT4) CQ's, but we still love making contacts on SSB and CW , we honestly do. Life would be a bit easier if callers stick to the NATO alphabet though. So please: Yankee Hotel Zulu instead of Yokohama Honolulu Zanzibar (or any other silly derivative)

Last night,heavy winds damaged the 20m element of our hexbeam; we had to take it down and use a McGyver fix :-)
9500+ qso's in the log - nice runs on 20m and 40m. Higher bands keep closed.
The MD/OP2D Outdoor Team activated GDFF-0023 Scarlett on 40m - WWFF activation is serious business...
And even on this peninsula edge, we are reminded that 'motorsport is dangerous'

First activation today: GDFF-0018 Glen Dhoo. Not easy to reach. All equipment had to be carried on foot for 1.2km but it was worth it!

the NBDX Team is ready to hit the road! Wednesday 18/9 we will board the Zeebrugge-Hull ferry; a 2nd ferry takes us to Douglas, on the Isle; expected arrival at our operating base by Thursday 7pm. Next day, on Friday 20/9, we hope to have one station up&running by 4pm. Watch this space!
