Many times, we lack the focus necessary to position a strong (personal) brand.

You know the story:
You just started and you want to say 'yes' to new clients and opportunities. Maybe you don't like to say 'no' to potential interesting clients. You don't want to lose extra income, or you fear you won't reach your financial goals by only serving one client segment. Another scenario is when you get lost into all the things you can offer and become product-obsessed.

In these situations, it's hard to stick to a niche, assuming even that you've done the exercise (theoretically or in practice) of choosing one.

Choosing to help different kinds of clients can be sometimes beneficial in the short run, but in the long run, your business and brand will likely profit more from having a clear focus, and keeping it.
