The latest release from Madloch’s Sound Avenue finds label stalwart Subnode returning for a new EP. Hailing from Belgium, Subnode has found a way to create a personal universe by exploring electronic sounds, and ultimately finding his own place in the trend-driven state of underground dance music. Whether operating in solo capacity or alongside frequent production partner and Sound Avenue label boss Madloch; Subnode’s creative vision would summon praise from a broad spectrum of electronic music tastemakers, in turn leading to a string of superlative releases with a distinctive voice all their own. Although best known for his house and techno releases, Subnode has diversified his portfolio with downtempo compositions, movie scores and a veritable smorgasbord of experimental electronica; all avenue’s where he continues to stretch his creative wings. Sound Avenue and label affiliates 3rd Avenue and Crossfade Sounds would become primary homes for Subnode, with the Belgian artist racking up fifty-three discography credits for the three imprints across a five-year stretch.

Continuing to develop their core artists, Madloch's Sound Avenue welcomes Secretly Famous back to the label for their second artist EP. Hailing from Australia, the Secretly Famous production duo first emerged in 2021 on the strength of early offerings such as 'Chimera' and 'On Fire'. Noted for their ability to marry traditional and contemporary progressive sounds, the Secretly Famous duo was quickly tipped as a production team to watch going forward. The next three calendar years would see the Aussie duo continue to refine their sound, resulting in an aesthetic that was both groovy and melodic. Secretly Famous would begin their creative partnership with Sound Avenue in 2022, in the form of a well-received debut via label affiliate Future Avenue, a two-track EP which would go on to yield twenty-five additional appearances across the Belgian label collective. Perhaps none more impactful was the duo's Sound Avenue debut, a progressive take on ‘One Word' by Estonian duo about : river, a project which landed with a resounding thump just over a year ago. The first quarter of 2024 was highlighted by ‘Yeon', the duo's first artist EP for Sound Avenue, ultimately setting the stage for their latest vehicle ‘Outlive', a five-track showcase which takes a deeper look into the duo's far-reaching repertoire.
