"Time Killers"

Naranasan mo na yung mag-patay ng oras?
Yung wala lang, gusto mo lang lumipas yung oras mo.

Bes, this is a quick but an important paalala na pahalagahan natin yung bawat oras natin dito sa mundo.

Isipin niyo sa araw-araw natin pinapahiram tayo ni Lord ng 86,400 seconds. Paano natin ito ginagamit? Saan natin ito inuubos?

Bes, Totoo yung time is Gold. sobrang precious ng time dahil di ito nabibili at hindi ito naiipon. At pag naubos to, wala na rin tayo.

Kaya Bes, ingatan mo kung saan mo iniispend yung oras mo. Mag-ingat sa mga Time Killers. Mga activities, temptations, sins na walang ibang ginawa kundi nakawin at higupin yung oras mo.

Paalala, na meron kang purpose! Wag mong sayangin.
Meron kang Diyos na nagcreate saayo at may plano sayo. Para makaiwas sa mga Time Killers, Spend your time wisely.

Spend your time seeking God instead.
Ask Him for help and wisdom para mamaximize mo yung time na pinahiram niya lang sa atin.

The world has a way of bringing us down through distractions, temptations, and entertainment, all of which promise enjoyment but never truly provide fulfillment.

Because we have already been transformed, our response to these things must rejection. The source of joy we have now is not all about material possessions anymore, but the place where the presence of the Lord is.

Our thoughts must be on the things above, given the fact that believers are no longer striving for temporal things here on earth but rather pursuing the eternal life that awaits us.

Assume you are climbing a ladder towards freedom while carrying heavy weights on your feet. With each step you take, you are pulled back down. That's hard, isn't it?

This thing explains that the paths of heaven and earth are entirely contradictory. Which proves you can't have a heavenly mindset while continuing to act in worldly ways.

Our new self now involves being justified to have the same mindset and attitude as Christ had. Walking without preserving our old selves in sin and shame was what we needed to do after repenting and receiving Christ.

The first step toward refocusing our minds on the eternal is to let go of our old self, as well as the sins and habits that belonged to it.

Cast them off because sin obstructs our ability to grow in our relationship with God and keeps our full attention on things that weaken our spiritual life.

Connecting to God while still being part of the sin system of this world from which we've been rescued is not possible for the one who truly worships the Lord.

"Since you have heard about Jesus and have learned the truth that comes from him, throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy." (Ephesians 4:21‭-‬24 NLT)

Family life can be so hard. Old wounds and disappointment, anger and friction—these things can sometimes feel stronger than the love that holds a family together. Sometimes the brokenness seems to deep to heal. But God can heal our families. He can restore what’s broken.

Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.
2 Corinthians 13:11

Let's ask the Lord to glue our families back together in all the torn places. He can soften our hearts toward one another. He can draw us to repentance. He can motivate us to forgive. He can fill our hearts with mercy, compassion, grace, and fresh love. He wants us to dwell together in peace and unity.

Will you pray today, and ask the Lord what you can do to help bring peace to your family? It probably won’t be easy, but God will be with you, helping you one day at a time. His love has the power to change everything.
