Yesterday was Sunday, and it's a stage First Flock Pictures will soon stand on, so it's beyond thrilling to release our official logo & animation. This company founded by Johnny Ray Gill will cultivate thought-provoking projects committed to groundbreaking storytelling & providing platforms for unique & traditionally marginalized voices.

This release is an amazing milestone but most importantly serves as a totem, a beacon of accountability that'll forever light the way forward, a constant reminder and challenge to get better every single day. Excited for all the beautiful work to come!

Peep First Flock Pictures new logo design!! ✨🚀

is a metaphorical symbol used by the Akan people of Ghana. The egg in its mouth represents the gems of the past upon which wisdom is based; it also signifies the generation to come that would benefit from that wisdom.

Also:
- taking from the past what’s good & bringing it into the present in order to make positive progress
- going back and reclaiming our past so we can move forward and understand how and why we came to be who we are today
-one’s past is an important aspect of their future, so in order to make the best of one’s future, one must visit the past.

So thrilled about all the amazing things to come!
