Are you a Bay Area actor who's looking to expand their film experience? Well, we are looking for you!

We need a college age (18-25) woman or non-binary actor to act in "Water on a Wasp" a 12-15 minute short film about two friends in the summer after high school and before college, dealing with the tensions of their friendship changing and them having to grow up. We anticipate a 5 day shoot later this month scheduled in the evenings.

Hello! Deathwhistle Productions is currently in the process of making a new short film! We are looking for actors to be in a film (12-15 minutes) that will be shooting later this month in the Bay Area.

If you're looking to add something to your acting reel, get some more experience film acting, or just help out with a really cool project, message Merrelle K. Jackson for more details! We welcome actors of all levels of experience, just as long as you're enthusiastic about the being a part of the project : )

This was such a fun thing to do! Just over 24 hours ago, Deathwhistle Productions hosted the 1st Anniversary celebratory livestream for "Ivy" where we looked back at the short film we made 1 year ago. Continuing our introductions before tomorrow...here we have Emma! Emma Sutherland is thrilled to be a part of Bean. She is currently studying English and Music at Napa Valley College.

Emma will be reading for the role of Melanie, a dumb but lovable part of the Literary Magazine class who adds a sense of childlike wonder to everything she does.

Some of her favorite roles include: Catherine in Pippin(SCT), Sally Brown in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown (SCT), Kira/Clio in Xanadu (Lucky Penny Productions), Muriel Plankenstein in Merman’s Apprentice (SAL), Cinderella in Into The Woods (RHS), Olive Ostrovsky in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (RHS), and Young Bonnie in Bonnie & Clyde (LPP). Emma would like to thank her family as well as her vocal coaches Vivian Bayubay McLaughlin and Joshua Bailey for all their support.

Sam will be reading for the role of Jared, a slightly unhinged short story writer who has sense of humor where no one is sure when he’s joking and when he’s not...

We are so proud to officially announce "BEAN!" a staged reading of an original one act play being live-streamed to the Deathwhistle Productions YouTube channel on August 19th! We are so excited to finally be getting this out to you all.

After many different bumps in the road, BEAN is finally getting to present it's silly bean cult shenanigans to the world. And as of 08/10/22, there are only 9 days left. The same amount of characters in the show!
