I remember the days I used to tell afew people how sad I was. And most of them would tell me that I shouldn’t be sad, I had a good job, I had a house, I had a good man, I had a lot going for me.
I would end up asking myself, why I wasn’t grateful inspire of all these things. Because when you say that you’re depressed and people point to your “material things” . You start to wonder if you’re being ungrateful. You’re being unrealistic. “Other people have it worse than you” .

None of the things I had saved me. I had all these things and I was still empty. That’s when I knew that I had to seek help. I sought help. I’m in a much better place. I’m in a place where material things don’t mean a thing to me. They are complimentary. They are a mean to get by. But I am happy within. I’m so full of joy. I often wish I could bottle it up and sell it off. I often wish I could keep it in the fridge and drink some when I feel sad.

I’m happy. I’m content. And I know that no amount of money could buy me this feeling. If you had told me last year, that I would feel like this some day. I wouldn’t have believed you. I don’t care for so many things in life right now. I just don’t, I don’t care for so many opinions, so many people. And it doesn’t come from a point of dislike. But from s point of fullness. I’m so full on something I can’t explain.

It’s a journey and I’m enjoying this journey. Whatever you’re going through. However you feel. It gets better.

My sister and I did a thing. So many dreams came true this day. I’ve been an avid admirer of hijabi fashion for so long. .
I had a conversation with last year about doing a few muslimah looks for my curvy sister. I knew the right person to reach out to. I was so scared at first. That I would be turned down being that this wasn’t my culture and/or religion. Both of these ladies were so open to me showing a few styles.
I’ve been such a huge admirer of ‘s style and aesthetic so this was/is such an honor. I could go on forever and ever.. but let me stop here.
In every way this content is dedicated to my amazing beautiful curvy muslimahs like . I will keep adding handles. Thank you for supporting me! You’re loved, and you’re appreciated.
