Chhath Mahaparv!!
Celebrated twice a year in states of Bihar, jharkhand and uttar pradesh primarily- This festival is unique in itself by all dimensions. Be it the dedication it takes, the grand celebrations or the spirituality.
What’s most interesting is that lord sun is worshipped in both the forms- the setting sun and the rising sun.
One form is in full grandeur whereas the other fading away to night, giving us beautiful life lesson that nothing is here to remain, a hope that even the source of light needs to go down and that after every night there is a beautiful and fresh morning!!!
Wish you all happy chhath pooja again!! .

Happy Guru Purnima. This day marks the birthday of rishi Vyas, the guru who wrote Mahabharata. This day is celebrated giving an ode to all the teachers(guru) in life. Afterall as the shloka says, guru is the creator, preserver and destroyer. Guru is the sole lord of lords!!

Happy Rathyatra!
On this day lord Jagannath along with elder brother Balram and sister Subhadra is taken to their maternal place MAUSIBARI, on huge elegant rathas.
A 10 days long festivity , they then return back to jagannathtemple and get a long rest in shayangraha.
May lord Jagannath bless us all!

Ganga Dussehra.
A festival celebrated in Bihar, Bengal, Uttar Pradesh region of India , is a day to worship goddess ganga(Ganga river).
Mythology says, when lord Vishu reincarnated as Baman avataar, he was measuring the size of earth by his footsteps. Even the tip of his toe was so powerful, it made a hole. Goddess Ganga is said to have emerged from there. A humble try to potry this story!!

Madhubani painting is one of most intricate and beautiful folk art forms of India. Practised in Madhubani region of Bihar , this art is somehow getting forgotten. An attempt to reinstate its beauty , this is a Mother’s Day themed painting.
The unique paper , colours and techniques used in this style are one of a kind. Will keep sharing the details about that too.
