*EUR/JPY fails to break 149.29, may retreat toward strong support at 148.06 as the Yen licks its wounds*

Resistance is holding – the 149.29 line, which capped EUR/JPY last week, has held up against an attack from the bulls. The cross is now retreating, with support at 148.68 and 148.06 and 147.12. Resistance above 149.29 is at 149.94 and 150.38.

While the trend remains to the upside, there is room for further downside after that rejection, and as the Yen recoevrs from previous falls. US yields may climb down, dragging USD/JPY and other Yen crosses down. US jobless claims may alleviate fears of an upcoming recession.

All in all, this cross is highly volatile, and it may swing back down.

*GBP/NZD* - is still in a bullish cycle. However, intraday support is seen at 1.9420. Weekly support is seen at 1.9349 and 1.9322.
With the latter being close to the 261.8% extension of 19312 this is the preferred buy zone

I always find AUD/NZD tricky to trade as both currencies positively correlatedd to great extent. Early today in the Asian session, the data from both countries supported such decline. We have already make about 150 pips profit. RBNZ is hawkish regardless the cyclone impact and Australia data was worse than expected.
After a big decline in a slow-moving pair, i will choose to be neutral until next correction upward.
Resistances: 1.0980, 1.1010.
Supports: 1.0935, 1.0905.

The US 10-year Treasury bond yield retreated on US jobs data
While DXY on corrective phase, further we have the US Consumer Price Index (CPI) for October on Thursday and US Elections a mixed up situation for *USD*
Coming CPI outlook is negative so its putting more pressure on DXY while the rest of the majors against USD are enjoying the benefits.
