Apple sauce: cheap and easy
Monday is food-day! Last week we told you how to make Belgian beef stew, today we'll talk about another Belgian classic: apple sauce! Did you know Belgium is one of the biggest exporters of apples?

Belgian Beef Stew
If you think about Belgium, you should think about Belgian beef stew.
They will proudly call 'stoverij' their national dish. This slowly cooked meat in Belgian beer with a slice of bread, normally gets eaten together with fries and is very popular. Belgian students might also ask for it in a fries store or 'frituur', where they get it on top of their fries.
In the following video a student from Ghent will explain you how this dish is made.
