To help promote the book - and draw attention to common digital myths - we created cheeky street signs, together with Kamiel Debruyne . We placed them in the streets of Ghent, spread them online, and turned them into posters and bookmarks, to be used at libraries across Flanders (because not everyone has easy access to the internet).

⛔️ Are these the strangest traffic signs you’ve ever seen? ⛔️

Since the beginning of November, you’ll find unique traffic signs scattered throughout that will make you laugh, think, and most importantly, gain insight into the digital world.

To promote ’ new book, ‘Mijn smartphone luistert mij af – en 22 andere mythes over het digitale tijdperk’ , we teamed up with aka Kamiel De Bruyne (content creator and chairman of ‘de Nationale Vereniging voor Nutteloze borden’) and created 5 cheeky road signs to help you navigate online.

Each sign features a QR code that leads you to an audio sneak peek of what the book has to offer.

The 5 part podcast seeks to answer a hyper relevant question: Why is the Middle East the world’s largest geopolitical powder keg?

Expert and foreign correspondent Jorn De C**k and host Alexander Lippeveld offer insight into the situation. Either from personal experience - Jorn has lived in various places in the region - or through conversations with people from various Middle Eastern countries.

Resident Brecht Plasschaert (.brecht.pl) created the music and sound design for the series, and mixed all of the episodes. Resident Kaja Verbeke () assisted the De Standaard team with editing.

tijd and embarked on a fully electric trip from Bornem to Munich. On route they created a branded podcast that reflects BMW’s brand values: innovation and sheer driving pleasure. Future Lanes takes you along the past, present and future of automotive excellence in 4 episodes (with only one charging pitstop in between). Resident tagged along for the sound design and mixing!

A new case is being unraveled on the Van Moord tot Verdict podcast as we speak! Resident drove all over the country to bring you the eerie story of Ronny. After intensive research, countless interviews and many many days of writing, it’s finally time to share the tale.

Can’t get enough of true crime? Not to worry, residents Emma, Matthias and Kaja are working on new cases that promise to be just as bone-chilling and hair-raising. We can’t wait!

Congratulations ! ‘Voor De Eer’ wins the first edition of De Grote PodCasting 🏆

Together with we set out to find emerging podcast talent and guess what? Belgium is teeming with great podcast ideas and enthusiastic creators. The jury selected 5 finalists from more than 350 entries.

After months of recording, editing, judging and voting, ‘Voor De Eer’ created by Debby De Ridder and mentored by (kudos for the beautiful sound design, Stef! 🎵) was crowned as the winner.

In ‘Voor De Eer’, Debby unfolds the story of the courageous Afghan woman Dunya. The upcoming episodes promise to be an intense quest to find freedom and connection.
