Poggio Bracciolini's 𝙀𝙪𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙞𝙚𝙨 set forth the characters and careers of six luminaries of the early Quattrocento: Francesco Zabarella, Niccolò Niccoli, Lorenzo de’ Medici the Elder, Niccolò Albergati, Leonardo Bruni and Giuliano Cesarini. The authors present for the first time a critical edition of these texts with a facing translation in English.
