The last 10-20 years have been a huge challenge. Actually, my whole life has been a huge challenge.
Feeling different from others, not feeling at home anywhere because you don't fit into the boxes of society. Because you feel deep within yourself that everything is not right, that things can/should be done differently. Gradually no longer daring to be yourself. You feel so much but people say different things. At some point, as a child, you start to doubt yourself and decide to follow the "grown-ups" because they know better, right?
In this way you gradually distance yourself from the real you.
But you can't keep that up. At some point the universe stops you.
That's what happened more than 10 years ago.
Fibromyalgia came my way. And at one point I was in such bad shape that I could barely even get from my bed to the toilet.
I was unable to accept this illness for a very long time. I resisted it so hard. But that is of course counterproductive.
But recently I have learned to see this disease as a gift.
It has given me time to learn to come to terms with myself, to learn to listen to myself again, to live my life on my terms.
When you start thinking about what your dream life looks like, you will realize that things have to be different.
By doing this you are open to change.
And so a few months ago a great opportunity came my way. 1 that attaches great importance to 3 very beautiful principles, namely physical health, wealth and mental health.
It is an opportunity that made me step out of my comfort zone in various areas of my life: Learning to think like an entrepreneur instead of as a disabled person, learning new skills in online marketing, mindset, personal development, learning to stay close to myself, ...
I have now found a vehicle to work towards my goal (establishing a healing center).
I'm so excited about what's yet to come, what I can still learn. It will be trial and error at times, but there is a fantastic team of beautiful souls behind me. All people with a vision, with a reason to leave life on autopilot behind and go for their dreams/goals.
