Low Orbit

Low Orbit Almost out of this world. Each month, born explorers and electronic music nerds Dune and Jonas Lion launch into the universe of dance music and rave culture.

Inviting anyone with even a basic interest in those areas to join them on their missions. One of them spent most of his career at record labels, the other is a music journalist and both have a background as DJs and club promotors. Together they dive into any topic worth exploring and showcase some of their musical finds. The research is serious, but the show is not.

Catalina has been taking steady leaps in the Brussels electronic music scene as a Romania-via-London transplant. A regular on the airwaves of Kiosk Radio, she’s made a name for herself by exploring the chemistry between deconstructed, weighty, percussive tempos and aquatic melodies. Her textured and uplifting sets are almost extraterrestrial, teleporting the dancefloors further into the stratosphere and beyond with a colourful mutation of leftfield electro, breaks and house.

Agassi.93‘s sophomore EP kicks off with ‘Ornament and Crime’, a track that seamlessly transitions from slow-paced modulated drums to a frenzy of distorted turmoil. ‘DAWN ver. β’ envelops you in a tapestry of evolving textures and organic jungle chaos, while ‘Mirror Of Emptiness’ evokes feelings of melancholy as if you were lost in the clouded remnants of a deserted city. The rave has ended, but the mist remains.

Surprise: Agassi 93 - Hyph Orbison, a free 155bpm amen-laden rework of a timeless classic ⚡️

To get hyped up for Agassi 93’s second release on Low Orbit Records, the Ghent-based duo has taken on Hyph Mngo by Joy Orbison, the kind of tune that hits a certain spot no other track can.

This track represents the golden era when dubstep crossed over into different territories. More than 14 years after its release, it still stands tall as a timeless classic. Agassi 93 took on this gem and gave it their own 155bpm amen-laden spin to create a version that pounds harder and takes more turns yet honours the original as one of the greatest dance tracks of our generation.

Full Circle unites Antwerp nightlife, music and culture in one big party, spread over three days and 35 unique locations. We're happy to be a part of it 🖤
