Each late-night coding session, every hurdle overcome, brought him one step closer to his dreams.

And now, in October 2024, Mahbub has achieved what many consider the pinnacle of tech careers - joining Apple as a Senior Software Engineer in Cupertino, California! "Alhamdulillah. Robotics Club of BRAC University - ROBU "Nabik" Robot: A Beacon of Hope in Flood-Affected Areas!

Our brilliant students are making waves with their innovative disaster response technology!

The Robotics Club of BRAC University (ROBU) and Nabik Automations have joined forces to create "Nabik" - a remote-controlled robot designed to navigate flood-affected areas unreachable by larger vessels.

Key features of this amazing invention:
🌟 2-foot long, easily maneuverable
🌟 2km operational range
🌟 Carries 7-8 life jackets and food packets
🌟 Equipped with FPV camera for real-time footage
🌟 Microphone for communication

Why It Matters: Floods create significant challenges, isolating communities and hindering aid delivery. Nabik bridges this gap, ensuring essential supplies reach those in need swiftly and safely.

This incredible initiative showcases the power of innovation and compassion. Our students are not just learning - they're making a real difference in people's lives! 💪

🚨 Urgent Appeal: BRACU Students on the Frontlines of Flood Relief! 🌊

Our brave BRAC University students are working tirelessly to aid flood victims across the nation. Four dedicated teams are currently deployed in Comilla, Chuddogram, and Noakhali, providing essential supplies and rescue operations.

However, they urgently need YOUR support to continue their life-saving mission! The teams require life jackets, clothes, medicines, and funds to reach more affected areas.

Yesterday, with your generous contributions, they successfully dispatched 7-8 boats and prepared 350 relief packages. But the need is growing, and every penny counts in this critical time.

You can make a difference by donating through mobile banking or dropping off supplies at the BRAC University main gate from 8 pm tonight.

Let's come together as a community and show our support for these courageous students and the flood-affected families they are helping. 🤝💕

BRAC University students took this initiative to peacefully protest and raise their voices against the quota system in government jobs. And they are not alone in this fight.

Registrar Dave Dowland has been a steady presence alongside the students, ensuring their safety and well-being during the demonstrations. we're incredibly proud to see this kind of leadership. Dowland's presence wasn't just symbolic; he actively ensured student safety by promising to open the university gates if needed.

Dowland's support and the university's commitment to safeguarding the student community have been invaluable. Today's backing from the BRAC University authority was truly praiseworthy.

While the path to reform may be long, the students are showing incredible courage and unity in pushing for a fairer, more equitable system. With allies like Registrar Dowland and the university administration, their voices are sure to be heard.

The Daily Bracu applauds the peaceful and persistent efforts of the students as well as the care and protection provided by Registrar Dowland and BRAC University during this challenging time. We stand in solidarity with all those working to build a brighter future.
