সময়ের সঙ্গে পাল্টাচ্ছে নারী নির্যাতনের ধরন। প্রযুক্তির কল্যাণকে কাজে লাগিয়ে বহুগুনে বেড়েছে নারীর উপর সাইবার হয়রানি। অনলাইনে বা সামাজিক যোগাযোগ মাধ্যমে নারীরা সাইবার বুলিং, আইডি হ্যাক, স্পর্শকাতর তথ্য, ছবি, ভিডিও প্রকাশ, সাইবার স্পেসে যৌন হয়রানি ইত্যাদি অপরাধের শিকার হয়ে থাকেন। আঁচল ফাইন্ডেশনের এক জরিপের তথ্যমতে, ৬৮ শতাংশ নারী সাইবার অপরাধের শিকার হচ্ছেন।

এসব অনাকাঙ্খিত ঘটনার শিকার হলে সবার আগে পরিবারকে জানাতে হবে এবং পুলিশের সহযোগীতা নিতে হবে। নারীদের এ সহায়তা দিতে ‘পুলিশ সাইবার সাপোর্ট ফর উইমেন’ ইউনিট চালু করা হয়েছে। অনলাইনে হয়রানী তাদের ফেসবুক পেজে (Police Cyber Support for Women - PCSW) বা হট লাইনে (০১৩২০০০০৮৮৮) অভিযোগ করতে হবে। এখানে নারী পুলিশ সদস্যগণ সেবা ও আইনি সহায়তা দিয়ে থাকেন।

এছাড়াও, সহিংসতার শিকার নারীর আইনগত সহায়তার জন্য কল করুন জাতীয় আইনগত সহায়তা প্রদান সংস্থার হেল্পলাইন নম্বর : ১৬৪৩০। এখানে কল করে বিনামূল্যে আইনগত সহায়তা পাওয়া যায়।

The Bangladesh Bank has reduced the interest rate on loans taken from the Export Development Fund (EDF) to help exporters facing the fallout of the Covid-19 pandemic. Previously, the interest rate was 2%; it has been reduced to 1.75%. The new interest rate will remain effective till 31 March next year.
