"Mindset: The New Psychology of Success" by Dr. Carol S. Dweck is a groundbreaking book that explores the concept of fixed and growth mindsets and how they influence our success, relationships, and personal development. The book presents the idea that our beliefs about our abilities and intelligence can significantly impact our achievements and how we approach challenges.

**Fixed Mindset**
In a fixed mindset, individuals believe that their qualities, such as intelligence and talents, are innate and unchangeable. They tend to avoid challenges because they fear failure and view setbacks as a reflection of their inherent limitations. They often seek validation and avoid tasks that might reveal their shortcomings.

**Growth Mindset:**
Conversely, a growth mindset is characterized by the belief that abilities and intelligence can be developed through effort, learning, and perseverance. People with a growth mindset embrace challenges and view failures as opportunities for growth. They value learning and are willing to put in the effort to improve themselves.

**Key Takeaways:**
- Mindset Shapes Success: The book underscores that one's mindset plays a pivotal role in determining success. A growth mindset empowers individuals to achieve more because they are open to learning, take on challenges, and persist in the face of obstacles.
- Effort and Learning: Individuals with a growth mindset understand that effort is the path to mastery. They recognize that setbacks and failures are part of the learning process and use them to enhance their abilities.
- Embracing Challenges: People with a growth mindset see challenges as opportunities for growth and actively seek them out. This mindset enables them to develop resilience and adaptability.
- Relationships and Feedback: The book explores how mindsets affect relationships and interactions. A growth mindset fosters a willingness to receive and give constructive feedback, leading to improved communication and collaboration.
- Parenting and Teaching: Dr. Dweck discusses the impact of mindset on parenting and education. Encouraging a growth mindset in children can promote their motivation, effort, and long-term success.

**Practical Application:**
The book provides practical insights for developing a growth mindset, such as:
- Embrace challenges and see effort as a path to mastery.
- Replace self-doubt with self-empowerment.
- Cultivate a love for learning and improvement.
- Embrace failures as opportunities for growth.
- Understand that setbacks are temporary and not indicative of inherent limitations.

"Mindset" by Dr. Carol S. Dweck emphasizes the power of our beliefs in shaping our lives and offers a transformative perspective on achieving success, fostering resilience, and building fulfilling relationships. It encourages readers to recognize their current mindset and provides guidance on how to shift toward a growth-oriented approach to life.

Sometimes the best idea comes from boredom.Getting bored in my university's empty lab, so I thought I would write something about the boredom.
boredom can actually be a catalyst for creativity.
When we are bored, our minds are more likely to wander and make connections between seemingly unrelated ideas. This can lead to breakthroughs and new insights that we might not have arrived at otherwise.

Taking breaks and engaging in mindless activities can be beneficial for the creative process."Taking a break and doing something else can be the key to unlocking your creativity." When we step away from our work and engage in something else, our subconscious mind continues to work on the problem, and we may find that we come up with new ideas or solutions when we return to our work.

Here are some ways that boredom can lead to great ideas:

Daydreaming: When we are bored, our minds are more likely to wander and engage in daydreaming This can lead to new ideas and insights that we might not have arrived at otherwise.

Mindless activities: Engaging in mindless activities like taking a walk, doing the dishes, or even just staring out the window can allow our minds to relax and free up mental space for new ideas to emerge

Trying new things: When we are bored, we may be more likely to try new things and take risks. This can lead to breakthroughs and new insights that we might not have arrived at otherwise.

Quiet reflection: When we are bored, we may be more likely to engage in quiet reflection and introspection. This can help us clarify our thoughts and feelings, and lead to new ideas and insights.

Ramadan Mubarak
It’s a Sunnah to ask forgiveness from everyone in this holy month of Ramadan.

Forgive me, if I have hurt you knowingly or unknowingly.
If I had ignored you intentionally or unintentionally.
If I had said something bad about you directly or through someone else.
I am sorry for all the pain I have caused you and if you had cried any day because of me.

It’s better to clear our souls so that our fasts and duas are accepted by Allah (swt). I will do the same for you, In Shaa Allah.

Ya Allah, please grant us all Hidayat, Imaan, Taqwaa and Sabr.

Ameen.

Dopamine Detox In this book, Dr. Emmons argues that our modern lifestyle, which is characterized by constant stimulation, instant gratification, and multitasking, can lead to an overstimulation of dopamine in our brains, which can result in addiction, anxiety, and depression. He offers a "dopamine detox" plan to help individuals reset their brain chemistry and achieve a healthier relationship with pleasure, motivation, and reward.
The plan consists of three steps:

Awareness: This involves becoming more mindful of our dopamine triggers, including technology, social media, food, and drugs. It also involves identifying our personal goals and values, so that we can align our dopamine-driven behaviors with our long-term priorities.

Balance: This step involves creating a more balanced lifestyle, by reducing or eliminating our exposure to dopamine triggers and engaging in activities that promote relaxation, connection, and creativity. This can include meditation, exercise, nature walks, and socializing with loved ones.

Connection: This step involves cultivating deeper connections with ourselves, others, and the world around us. It involves practicing gratitude, empathy, and compassion, and finding meaning and purpose in our lives beyond the pursuit of pleasure and reward

Once upon a time, there was a young man named Jack who dreamed of becoming a successful entrepreneur. He had a passion for creating new things and wanted to make a difference in the world.

Jack worked hard day and night to turn his dream into a reality. He started his own company and invested all of his savings into it. However, after a few months, he realized that his business was not doing well and he had lost all of his money.

Jack was devastated. He felt like he had failed and that his dreams were shattered. He had hit rock bottom and didn't know how to get back up again.

However, Jack refused to give up. He knew that he had to keep going, no matter how difficult things got. He started to analyze his mistakes and learn from them. He started networking and meeting other entrepreneurs, seeking advice and guidance.

Jack kept working hard, trying out new ideas, and never lost faith in himself. After a few months of hard work, he finally came up with a new business plan, and this time he was more determined than ever to succeed.

With his renewed sense of determination, Jack launched his new business. This time, he paid close attention to his finances, made sure he had the right team, and never lost sight of his goals.

To his surprise, Jack's business took off, and he became a huge success. He learned that even when we fall, we can rise again, and overcome our challenges.

Jack's journey is a reminder that success is not just about having a good idea, but about having the determination to keep going, even when things get tough. We all face obstacles, setbacks, and failures in life, but it's how we respond to them that defines us.

So if you're going through a tough time, remember that you're not alone. Keep pushing yourself, keep learning, and keep trying. Because just like Jack, you too can rise from the ashes and achieve great things.

10 Top Lessons From The Book The Alchemist

A book by Paulo Coelho

1. Fear is a bigger obstacle than the obstacle itself

"Tell your heart that the fear of suffering is worse than the suffering itself.

And that no heart has ever suffered when it goes in search of its dreams."
Any new pursuit requires entering uncharted territory -- that's scary. But with any great risk comes great reward.

The experiences you gain in pursuing your dream will make it all worthwhile.

2. What is "true" will always endure

"If what one finds is made of pure matter, it will never spoil. And one can always come back.

If what you had found was only a moment of light, like the explosion of a star, you would find nothing on your return."

~ Truth cannot be veiled by smoke and mirrors -- it will always stand firm.

~ When you're searching for the "right" decision, it will be the one that withstands the tests of time and the weight of scrutiny.

3. Break the monotony

"When each day is the same as the next, it's because people fail to recognize the good things that happen in their lives every day that the sun rises."

~ Gratitude is the practice of finding the good in each day.

~ Life can easily become stagnant, mundane, and monotonous, but that changes depending on what we choose to see.

~ There's always a silver lining, if you look for it.

4. Embrace the present

"Because I don't live in either my past or my future. I'm interested only in the present.

If you can concentrate always on the present, you'll be a happy man."

~ There's no point dwelling in the past and letting it define you, nor getting lost and anxious about the future. But in the present moment, you're in the field of possibility

~ How you engage with the present moment will direct your life.

5. Your success has a ripple-effect

"That's what alchemists do. They show that, when we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better, too."

~ Growth, change, and evolution are weaved into the fabric of reality.

~ Becoming a better version of yourself creates a ripple effect that benefits everything around you: your lifestyle, your family, your friends, your community.

6. Make the decision

"When someone makes a decision, he is really diving into a strong current that will carry him to places he has never dreamed of when he first made the decision."

~ It's easy to get overwhelmed by the unknowns and finer details of your dreams.

~ Actions will flow out of having confidence in your decision; sitting on the fence will get you nowhere.

7. Be unrealistic

"I see the world in terms of what I would like to see happen, not what actually does."

~ Some of the greatest inventions would not have happened if people chose to accept the world as it is.

~ Great achievements and innovations begin with a mindset that ignores the impossible.

8. Keep getting back up

"The secret of life, though, is to fall seven times and to get up eight times."

Because the eighth time could be your breakthrough.

Some of the greatest novels in history were published after receiving hundreds of rejections. Thankfully, those authors never gave up.

9. Focus on your own journey

"If someone isn't what others want them to be, the others become angry.

Everyone seems to have a clear idea of how other people should lead their lives, but none about his or her own."

~ It's easy to be influenced by others, but you'll be miserable if you end up living someone else's life.

~ There's nothing wrong with taking advice and learning from others, but make sure it aligns with your desires and passions.

10. Always take action

"There is only one way to learn. It's through action."

Read a few months ago. sharing the summary
The Art of Happiness is a guide to Eastern spiritual traditions for a Western audience. This book covers all facets of the human experience, including how to solve everyday problems so that you can live a happy life. Plus, how you can remain peaceful during highly stressful and challenging times.

1.The Purpose of Your Life Is to Seek Happiness

“So let us reflect on what is truly of value in life, what gives meaning to our lives, and set our priorities on the basis of that. The purpose of our life needs to be positive. We weren’t born with the purpose of causing trouble, harming others. For our life to be of value, I think we must develop basic good human qualities-warmth, kindness, compassion. Then our life becomes meaningful and more peaceful-happier.”
– THE DALAI LAMA

The Dalai Lama explains we all have the same purpose in life. Your purpose is to seek happiness, irrespective of your religious, cultural, or social background. There are differences, though, in individual cultures’ beliefs that happiness is attainable. In the West, there is a general belief that happiness cannot be developed and sustained by training the mind. Buddhism challenges this view and suggests happiness is an attainable goal.
Success will not bring you sustainable happiness, nor will failure bring you sustained depression. Sooner or later, we all return to our baseline happiness. The Dalai Lama explains that psychologists call this effect hedonic adaptation. It does not matter what is happening in your external events as you will eventually return to your baseline. Therefore, the benefit of Buddhism is that it shows you how to set this baseline to a higher level of happiness.

2,Do Not Place Joy on the Suffering of Others

It can be easy to fall into the trap of wanting the worst for our enemies. However, the unhappiness of your enemies will not help you sustain long-term happiness. Buddhists spend a considerable amount of their time paying attention to individuals they don’t necessarily like. They spend this time fighting these feelings, as hatred is a stumbling block to happiness. Therefore, the Dalai Lama recommends practicing patience and tolerance when you encounter individuals you don’t like. Plus, you should be grateful for the moments you have with enemies. These moments are when you can effectively practice patience.

I would highly recommend everyone to read this book.

Languages of Bangladesh

The lowlands of Bangladesh form the larger, central and eastern half of the ethno-linguistic region of Bengal and the Bengali language is spoken by the majority of the country's inhabitants. There are also some Eastern Indic language varieties, which are variously classified either as dialects of Bengali or separate but closely related languages. They can be thought of forming a dialect continuum.
