Meet the representative of our Camp 24 team,

My name is Anowar Sadek and I am from Nyaung Chaung village in Maung Daw Township.

Currently, I reside in the Bangladesh refugee camp in Cox's Bazar. Since 2017, I have been living in Leda Camp 24 for more than seven years.

Before I fled to Bangladesh, I was studying in the seventh grade on my family's land. Unfortunately, I was forced to leave my home due to the actions of the Myanmar government. When I arrived in Bangladesh, I found myself without opportunities, but education remained my passion. I shared everything I could with the children in my community.

While I couldn't achieve my own educational aspirations, I have been determined to find ways to help others learn, despite the challenges of being a refugee.

I faced numerous difficult situations in Myanmar and witnessed many hardships. I saw countless houses burned down in my village by the junta government. When my own house was set ablaze, I couldn't hold back my tears as I watched it burn.

As a young humanitarian worker, my goal is to assist my vulnerable community in building a better future.

I am currently serving as a representative of the Rohingya Youth Network (RYN) Camp 24 team.

Meet the representative of our camp 7 team,

This is Mohammed Omar,a youth from Myanmar who was denied fundamental rights by the Myanmar Buddhist government. Being a citizen in Myanmar I was called Bengali by the government and its majority ethnicity including Buddhist monks. Myanmar government snatched my basic rights like: Education, freedom of movement, freedom of religion and even nationality.
In 2017 I have faced systemic genocide by the government and I was forced to fled my native land Myanmar to refugee camp in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh. I myself witnessed the brutal gun shots in my village on my people, gang rapped to our mothers and sisters by the Myanmar military and Border guard police -BGP. I also saw the burning of my home in 2017 and I'm a non-paid Role Model of UNHCR in Camp-7.

As a young humanitarian worker, my goal is to assist my vulnerable community in building a better future.

I am currently serving as a representative of the Rohingya Youth Network (RYN) Camp 7 team.
