Assalauamualaikum, W/W, I am Maung Maung Win Arkani, Today is seventh anniversary 25 august of Rohingya genocide remembrance day.
Today, we gather to honor the resilience, courage, and humanity of genocide survivors. This is a solemn occasion, a day to remember the past, acknowledge the pain and suffering, and reflect on the lessons we must learn to prevent such atrocities from happening again.
Genocide is not just a chapter in history books; it is a profound and painful reality that has shattered our lives and communities. The horrors endured by the victims, the silence of the world, and the scars left behind serve as stark reminders of our shared responsibility to remember, to educate, and to act on it.
We must never forget the names, faces, and lives of those who were lost. It is our duty to keep our memory alive, not just in words, but in our actions, to ensure that future generations understand the gravity of what happened and why it must never be repeated.
we empower ourselves to be vigilant against the forces that enable such evil. Moreover, we are advocating for justice and human rights, standing up against discrimination and oppression wherever we see it. We have a collective responsibility to ensure that the phrase "Never Again" is not just an empty slogan, but a commitment to action.
We are standing together in solidarity, not just today, but every day, to build a future where such atrocities are unimaginable.
We are humbly requesting the international communities to cooperate with Bangladesh to repatriate us in a safe place as soon as possible with a human need.
We inspire us all to be better, to do better, and to never forget.
