বাংলাদেশ আওয়ামীলীগ শীঘ্রই ড. মুহাম্মদ ইউনূসের নেতৃত্বাধীন অন্তর্বর্তী সরকারের বিরুদ্ধে আন্দোলনে নামার পরিকল্পনা করছে।

গত শুক্রবার (২৫ অক্টোবর) ভয়েস অব আমেরিকাকে দেওয়া সাক্ষাৎকারে দলের সাংগঠনিক সম্পাদক শফিউল আলম চৌধুরী নাদেল এ তথ্য জানিয়েছেন।

তিনি বলেন, “আমরা দলের নেতাদের একত্রিত করার কাজ করছি এবং অন্যান্য সমমনা রাজনৈতিক দলের সাথে যোগাযোগ করা হচ্ছে। আগামী দুই সপ্তাহ বা এক মাসের মধ্যে আন্দোলনে নামতে পারি।”

শফিউল আলম আরও জানান, বর্তমান সরকার সম্পূর্ণ অসাংবিধানিক এবং সারাদেশে প্রতিবাদ ও বিক্ষোভের মাধ্যমে তাদের ক্ষমতায় টিকে থাকার সম্ভাবনা নেই। তিনি বলেন, “আওয়ামী লীগ অন্তর্বর্তী সরকারের সাথে বসতে আগ্রহী নয়।”
