ইমাম ইবনুল কাইয়্যিম রহিমাহুল্লাহ বলেন,
"একজন মুমিন বান্দা দশটি কারণে শয়তান থেকে নিরাপত্তা পেতে পারেঃ
১- আল্লাহর কাছে শয়তান থেকে আশ্রয় চাওয়া বা ‘আউযুবিল্লাহি মিনাশ শাইত্ব-নির রাজীম’ পড়া।
২- সূরা ফালাক ও নাস পড়া।
৩- আয়াতুল কুরসী পাঠ করা।
৪- সূরা আল বাকারাহ পাঠ করা।
৫- সূরা আল বাকারার শেষ দুটি আয়াত পাঠ করা।

৬- সূরা গাফির (মুমিন) এর শুরু থেকে পাঠ করা।
৭- “লা ইলাহা ইল্লাল্লাহু ওয়াহদাহু লা শারীকা লাহু লাহুল মুলকু ওয়ালাহুল হামদু ওয়াহুয়া আলা কুল্লি শাইয়িন কাদীর।” ১০০ বার পাঠ করা।
৮- অধিক হারে আল্লাহর যিকির।
৯- বাড়তি দৃষ্টি, বাড়তি কথা, বাড়তি খাওয়া ও বাড়তি মেলামেশা থেকে বেঁচে থাকা।
১০- ওজু ও সালাত।"
