From my very childhood I always wondered why hijras are treated different and why they acted different even though they were normal human being like us. Why society neglected this community. Does gender identity is the main root of this problem? After visiting sherpur and meeting the hijra community I finally came to realize that gender was never an issue in the first place. It was something else what was controlling their fate and this video is about that dark reality of hijras and what they have been facing for decades.

Stories of Sherpur
I stayed only three days in Sherpur and this place bomberd me with stories. No other district was able to hit me this amount of feature stories like sherpur did in such a small amount of time. I just love this place and it's people are amazingly humble. Special thanks to my dear friend shariar and abul kalam sir for everything.
