leven-years since then, we have seen the emergence of a new generation of Bangladeshi writers, some of whom have achieved international renown. As a yearly edition to Dhaka's coveted Dhaka Lit Fest, SSR has received rave reviews since. Six Seasons Review is published twice a year (April, in sync with the Bengali New Year) and in November, when the Dhaka Literary festival is held annually. The publisher is Abul Khair and the editor Fakrul Alam, and in the Editorial Board are Syed Manzoorul Islam, Shamsad Mortuza and Luva Nahid Choudhury, while Zeenat Choudhury is the Managing Editor. We are committed to publishing quality experimental and creative writing from the region as well as the wider world for an ever-growing readership in Bangladesh as well as the world outside. We also publish photo essays and showcase artwork by established and emerging artists. SSR’s aim is to assemble a broad range of voices, perspectives, and life experiences. The only criterion for accepting submissions from contributors is quality writing - in English and in English translations - poetry, fiction, non-fiction, prose, drama, interviews, essays on literature, as well as art, photography and graphic narratives. We are open to all literary styles, with writers and artists of all levels of experience encouraged to submit—we publish big names alongside first-time publishers.
