Madhupur has a land area of 500.67 km and is bounded by the Jamalpur district in the north and west, Mymensingh district in the East, Ghatail, and Gopalpur Upazila in the South. 0 hectares. It is one of the last remaining patches of old-growth Sal forest left in the country. Pirghacha rubber garden of Madhupur Upazila is very famous for tourist as a picnic spot. The upazila consists of two municipalities that are Madhupur and Dhanbari. Madhupur Upazila have three private banks (National, NCC and Islami Bank) and the economic activities are growing fast day by day. Madhupur Upazila is very strong. The people of the Madhupur Upazila have long been demanding declaration of Madhupur as a new district for ensuring overall development. So we request the government for announcing Madhupur as a new district for fulfilling the long cherished demand of the people
